on my time of having 3ds flashcarts i have NEVER EVER gotten savedata corrupted.
Since updating to 2.1b2 on my gateway and 3.1 on my 3dslink, ive gotten savedata corrupted upon trying to loadup again freshly cleared savefiles for starfox and NSMB2. Both fuckin games┬┤ savedata was corrupted. i was furious yesterday, with starfox┬┤s data being corrupted, but now i am soooo pissed right now that i made this discovery with NSMB2 being corrupted 5 minutes ago.
Anyone notice this? DOWNGRADING RIGHT NOW.

On another note, anyone have savefiles for those two games? Both are USA versions.

EDIT. I re-emphasize, im a POSITIVE these new launchers are corrupting data. Downgraded 3DSLink to v3.0 and no save corruption so far. Maybe tommorrow ill test on my gateway.

No other reports of it. It could be either firmware that caused your problem, or it's possible that the combined use of both did it.

I've been using Gateway 2.0b2 for a while now and all of my saves are fine. Maybe you have a faulty card?

    hmm thats possible.
i wouldnt think so. ive been using 3dslink since 2 releases of firmware, and gateway sin b1 and everything has been fine. its since 3.1 came out for 3dslink that i started to do a starfox playthrough on my 3dslink, then when it corrupted, i lent my brother his gateway for a nsmb2 playthrough and the same thing happened.

Does this issue occur only with the Gateway card or only with the 3DSLink card? Or both?

OK, well try using only one card exclusively instead of combining them. Maybe there are some differences in encryption...

Woah, you should edit that out and not jump into conclusions that quickly.

So far I've been getting corrupted saves in New Super Mario Bros. And Mario / Luigi Dream Team. Instantly after I restart the game :P, while I properly get out of the game (home / x / a). while waiting a bit.

Skyrider are you using 3DSLink or Gateway when you get these corrupted saves?

Not sure. I'd suggest re-loading the firmware on to your microSD, as well as re-updating your emuNAND if it's updated now.
