Hi guys, i was wondering if anyone can help me with running mario kart 8 , i got both the eur and the USA version, but none of them run in mii maker mode. On the compatibility chart it says it's compatible if not updated, i am sure i am running v0, anyone have help for getting it running on loadiine v4.0?

hello,

I tested it myself with all versions and didn't do anything to launch v0 with miimaker.
just used v0, with the cos and app xml files.
if it's you own dump, you will require the xml, if it's extracted from wud or nus, the xml should be present.

Be sure it's a clean v0 (no residual files from an update).
overwriting files is not good method. delete full folder and copy a clean v0 again.

I tested EUR version on EUR console.
Did you try SSB mode? or you don't have ssb to test?
What you can try is press Y to exit to home menu, then select Miimaker to boot the game. it's another method to launch a game without autoboot.
Y is not only for disc mode, it's only "no autoboot", then choose your launch method.

- allow homebrew games dev (because piracy i bad , not trolling, just think about indie devs ;) )

if you have another NDS game it would be interesting to see if the values are different.

Anyone has already made xmls for nds/64 vc they can share? i mean xml dont have anything room like to sharing them should be fine also where do xmls go in the new file structure? do we need btoh app and cos xml?

need both xml, they both go in code folder. i will zip up nds and n64 xmls fr you

thanks alot i should add them to wiiu vc injection too since we can finaly make solo injects for nds and n64, wirdly enough gba is the only vc now we cant do solo vc injection lol.

nice to know and thanks for your download, now i can start making my injection collection like i did for the snes :P and add more stuff to the compat list mostly nds which lacks alot of stuff.

also i remenber we could add the new choices of nds vc display to brain training if we add some folder from later VC titles right?

also out of curiosity i know snes vc works but some of my injections only work on loadiine v3 instead of v4 anyone has a snes xml dump?

injection works from loadiine launched VC? good to know.
You use Fix94 injectors?
I've read pygecko froze when installing it.
Nope. Using injection via rom file replacement. Larger rom works OK.

Will try to get gecko running and test injector.

PS> Does anyone know a good N64 byte swapping program? My hex editor seems to not like doing byte swaps.
