So I'm probably going out today to buy myself an Xbox360 after much thinking, to go along with my Wii

It's kinda lonely...and I don't wanna be stuck with one console this generation, plus all my friends own one. So yep, I've made my decision. Thing is, I don't know what game to buy first or what my gamertag should be

Most of my friends have Halo 3, and they say it's great...but some others tell me to get CoD4. Haven't played either really, and they both look very fun. Halo looks a bit more fun to me though, because of the colors. Also it's a bit non-realistic. CoD4 looks like it might get old while Halo always stays fun? Then again, I don't know...so I'm asking you guys

My first game is gonna be a Live game, and since all the rave is about those 2 I have to choose which to get. Help? D:

Oh, and please help me pick a gamertag :\
Sorry if they suck though..not feeling creative today. You can also suggest one, but I don't think mine are that bad...are they? :'[

CoD4 is a balanced game and it is easy to pick up and start playing. But Halo 3 takes a lot of time to get good at, Both campaign modes are short, so it all comes down to multiplayer.

I say CoD4

flash it,

dont be overwhelmed with the idea of messing around with the insides of you xbox360

there are countless guides and forums if you ever get stuck,
if you follow all the safeguards there is really no risk.

you'll probably end up getting both Halo 3 and CoD4 in the long run.

and you wont want to play Halo once you've played CoD4, so get Halo 3 first. as CoD4 is a much better game

Now, I'm going to look out of place with everyone saying CoD4, but Halo 3 should be your first game. I have both. Halo 3 is definitely a better friend-party game to play over the internet than CoD4, which is more fun to play alone. Plus, the created content you can find on Bungie favorites is amazing (people managed to defy physics and make floating space stations lol)

While halo 3 is fun, I prefer Call of Duty 4.

Halo 3 just has a ranking system, whereas Call of Duty 4 has a ranking system, PLUS unlockable weapons, and "multiplayer perks" which help customize your in-game "class" That's just the multiplayer though.

I know you aren't really asking about single player, but I do have to say, the Halo 3 single player is way too short. So, Call of Duty 4 is probably the way to go, in my opinion.

COD4 here too....its a fun game and itsnot to hard to get decent at. Itss full of different ranked players and seems to match you up more fairly.

Halo 3 is annoying, its like trying to shoot a bunch of fleas cos everyones jumping everywhere 24/7.

Plus with gta4 just around the corner then theres no reason not to get a 360

well im superduper new to citrus and im trying to download a hello kitty cooking game (dont judge) but it was a cia file. i did the thing to turn it into cci but citra says you need the game to be a folder to import it. im kinda dumb so maybe im not looking hard enough for answers if anyone can help....
  • HiradeGirl @ HiradeGirl:
Be a folder? What's the exact error message?
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Just double click the folder and add it
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
The root folder where you have games stored
  • HiradeGirl @ HiradeGirl:
Yeah, just try the "add new game directory".
  • JefferyCuddletrousers @ JefferyCuddletrousers:
no error message, and its just a file not a folder
  • HiradeGirl @ HiradeGirl:
And do what the troll said.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah but Citra uses that to scan folders
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
So it could be like C:\\Games\folder\game.Cci
  • JefferyCuddletrousers @ JefferyCuddletrousers:
    nothing like that pops up
