Why would it be unfair? The people that bought the 3DS before the price drop are paying 80 dollars extra. They deserve some "payback".

And anyone who has a 3DS, even after the ambassador program, will get 10 free games anyways, right?

Why should it be for ALL buyers, when people payed way more than what it will drop down to. you are just upset because your not getting FREE stuff. I wont cal in so people like YOU will get not only a price cut on the console, but free stuff on top, that just makes people even more pissed if it were the case.

TBH: i would rather prefer that we had a choice on what we wanted free, even if it is 2 3DS games that would amount to the price differance. I do not like how Nintendo is making us choice what they want us to have. I wanna choose what I want.. I dont really care for their old games.

It would be pointless for everyone to have it, because it won't be a gift to those early adopters.

it would seem unfair to the early adopters that they would get nothing. The point of the ambassador program is to reward the people who bought it possiblely at launch or near after launch. It is not for you, OP.

You cannot be serious. We go and help Nintendo with their product and pay our $250. They decide to go ahead and drop it by $80 (a new record for a price drop as far as I know) which they have to had planned beforehand assuming sales figures weren't good enough.

They held out on us, and they have the decency to give us something for their poor marketing experiment.

I don't see anything wrong with giving a bonus to people who purchased the 3DS early.
