Gaming OFW 3.60 Out Tomorrow

Yeah thats what firmware release usually are are security patches. This one includes the option of including gamesaves via cloud computing.

I stand corrected, it seems you can update via USB.

Since I never play online on consoles, I'll just wait for a game to ask me to update (I have some games to finish), maybe 4.00 will be out when I'll have finished them with some actual tempting features.

you do get quite alot more from PSN+ - i must say, they have gotten one or two really good games such as stacking (15$) for FREE - yes FREE

also many PS One Classics and such - i would really wanna subscribe to it, but on the UAE store its 65$ a year, once i get my hands on a US CC i'll just buy the subscription off of a USA store account.

Regardless, i don't see much change for none PSN+ people - there is something about your controller being inactive for some time X and then the PS3 can choose to turn it off.

This is live, updating now. There's mention of a new Power Save setting, Controller Turn Off. You can adjust how long the controller is inactive before it shuts off.

I'd also assume there's some new anti-piracy stuff in there too, but they obviously won't mention that on the update

More then we tought they could. At the moment the ps3 is secure again, until someone will find a new exploit. They removed all existing loaders and are using custom lv0 loader now,

I don't remember if it was there before, I'm just reporting what the PS3 said when I updated. They might have just added the time adjustment; you can now choose after 10, 20, or 30 minutes of inactivity. Perhaps before 3.60 you could only turn the feature on, not adjust the time?

You're only really "renting" the games that you get for free on PS+. once your subscription is up, they don't belong to you anymore.
