Do you think that changing the renderer from hardware to software would speed up?In the in game options go down to controls then change Retropad to Wiimote (sideways)

All GC games are 1.35 GB due to padding.I checked, but it's just content_history.lpl, retroarch-core-options.cfg, and retroarch.cfg in there, alongside a bunch of folders. Also, the game is only 1.35GB, so it's not over the file size limit either lol
EDIT: It might actually be the file size. the 1:1 ripped 1.35GB dumps I tried didn't load, but my trimmed dump of Donkey Konga 2 seems to be working fine.
No. Software backends will always be slower than hardware. These implementations are typically only for testing.Do you think that changing the renderer from hardware to software would speed up?
Changing the render options doesn't seem to have any effect on speed (good or bad) same with changing the Jit options.Do you think that changing the renderer from hardware to software would speed up?
when you change that stuff you have to restart the core itself for something to actually happenChanging the render options doesn't seem to have any effect on speed (good or bad) same with changing the Jit options.
I guessed it would have a negative effect on performance.when you change that stuff you have to restart the core itself for something to actually happen
and it is alot slower when used

Ploggy's has only the Dolphin core and allows you to get around the 2gb file limit, refer to dominator01's video that was previously posted. What are differences between ploggy's build and build 21 ?
