I checked, but it's just content_history.lpl, retroarch-core-options.cfg, and retroarch.cfg in there, alongside a bunch of folders. Also, the game is only 1.35GB, so it's not over the file size limit either lol

EDIT: It might actually be the file size. the 1:1 ripped 1.35GB dumps I tried didn't load, but my trimmed dump of Donkey Konga 2 seems to be working fine.
All GC games are 1.35 GB due to padding.

Trimming them is recommended.

Do you think that changing the renderer from hardware to software would speed up?
No. Software backends will always be slower than hardware. These implementations are typically only for testing.

Changing the render options doesn't seem to have any effect on speed (good or bad) same with changing the Jit options.
when you change that stuff you have to restart the core itself for something to actually happen

and it is alot slower when used

I guessed it would have a negative effect on performance.
Judging by the reply from @newfreezer the X has a 10 fps improvement on NSMBW over the S. Still not quite fullspeed but its damn close :)

1. you must have internet connection at all time when switching and using dev mode
2. i never seen or heard of that problem i do this all the time on dev mode, maybe its your internet thats cutting out since if you dont have internet it switches back to retail

Clinton.edu dev account A-GO! For anyone that still wants a free one, that's your ticket. Confirmed working.

DevOS looks pretty cool. Time to see what's up with RA. Thanks, all.

Everything is running really well except I am having trouble actually loading my GameCube .iso files. Also, I can't seem to run PSX games via Playlists due to a VFS error.

Could u give some steps to get It?
Sign up for a clinton.edu student email, log-in to it, then get back to me. I'll walk you through the rest.

The main issue it seems that people thought this was patched was because M$ have about 3 dead links through this process of acquiring dev mode. But if you know where to look in the dev portal, it's right there.

So, I'm playing Pikmin for the GC. Seems to run great minus the intro screen which is laggy. Runs like butter after that tho, from my limited testing! Always wanted to play Pikmin. Almost bought the GC back in the day just for that game, always looked like a ton of fun! Now I can play! Thanks!
