as of 1.7.6 i redownloaded all new core versions so now they should be up to date as of today

It'd be nice if the "download cores" function was included in the UWP/XB1 version.

sorry i couldnt wait i had to put something out due to slow internet

dl link very soon

Not a problem, I was killing time playing Castlevania, downloading now.

the reason why it doesnt have that feature is because xbox one doesnt allow you to write to the core directory since its sandboxed

so unless cores go somewhere else its not gonna be easy

I haven't tried it personally (so far I only have moved the location for saves and states), but I know you can choose a different location for core directory. Would it still sandbox it on an external drive?

i think it would break core compatibility if moved

I was never a fan of xmb, even on the PS3. But that's probably because I am ancient and my first computer/game system was the Apple //c, and I grew up with "plain and simple" and "it just works"!

Just watch out on that basic white version of Ozone.. it'll blind you.

I just found out that I no longer have a scaling issue after updating assets when using Ozone. Yay!

The solution file is located under \source\repos\RetroArch\pkg\msvc-uwp

If you add the repo as a folder to vs or clone the repo from the GitHub extension. All the various sln files should show up in solution explorer.

PS xbox1.sln is for the original Xbox. You want RetroArch-msvc2017-UWP.sln

Someone know how to make this new version (1.7.6) recognize the pcsx bios? Lots of games stopped to work when the usb support was added. And it's annoying that RetroArch is copying all my pcsx games to the localstate folder, which will decrease my free space with duplicated games. The old version that doesn't have usb support looks superior, even for browse through folders because it doesn't freeze the screen. This new version actually doesn't recognize the pcsx bios files or I'm doing something wrong?

The PSX cores do not support VFS yet, that is why the system is copying them over.

What PSX core are you using? Beetle sees the bios no problem for me without changing any settings. On PCSX Rearmed I would have to enable bios support on a game by game basis. Also make sure that the bios files are on the internal drive in the system folder and not on your external drive.

Thanks for the reply. I'm using the pcsx core included in the latest build since it's faster than Beetle. I'm gonna try to put the bios in the system folder then.
