I have a DSTT, I formatted with the Panasonic Tool and used the last RetroGameFan firmware, I also tried the patch available for YSMenu in the 1st post, but nothing, it gives to me " errcode=-4 "

Can someone help me... I have an R4 III (An R4 clone, I believe) which of the patches do I use ans what version do I need my R4 to be; and for that matter, what firmware? YsMenu, Wood R4, ect... AND what Patcher!!! Plz respond plz!!! I need to play this and I'm broke!!!

Finally got it working on acekard 2i! what i did was
1) backup everything
2) format using panasonic sd format tool
3) downloaded akaio from the acekard website http://www.acekard.com/download.php (this has the latest loader already)
4) moved patched rom
and now it works

You know for future reference, the Acekard site is not the official AKAIO site. This is

oh sorry about that! but it didnt seem to work when i used the AKAIO 1.8.9z from that site 0-o not sure if they are both different or just me having bad luck

Most likely you missed a step.
When using Panasonic SD Format tool, it's best to use these settings FORMAT TYPE - FULL (OverWrite) : FORMAT SIZE ADJUSTMENT - ON.
I have found that can make a difference.

Holy crap, this actually fixed it! I'm so happy now

Formatting it normally did nothing, had to use the SD Format tool with those settings to get past the loading screen on my Acekard 2i

My issue was that a regular reformat didn't work o_o!

I had to install the Panisonic SD Formatter and do a quick reformat using that, and then it magically started working.
