Gaming [?] Official name of the Sun & Moon protagonist...

Im just curious what are the official names of the protagonist on pokemon sun and moon series...

the one from X/Y are calem and serena
and for the oras are may and brendan

i just searched the net but i cant find anyting...

Well, I don't know if it follows a trend but, the Female protagonist was called after satoshi's sidekick in the anime. (for hoenn May, for X/Y Serena(?)) But I can't remember what was the manga name for the female protagonist in D/P/Pt or B/W

In the demo, you are referred to as Orlando

I want to name my trainer after their canon name too. Why is it taking so long to reveal who they are? (Also the Manga name is not the same name as the game/anime)

At least I'm able to change name in PKHeX without starting over my adventure.

so maybe, its not really "sun" for SM...
we'll know it once manga is released ;-)

Notably it's Red and Blue in the game(s), not Ash/Satoshi and Gary - so it's safe to say that the canon here is Sun and Moon regardless of gender, however little sense that makes.

Edit: Although Sol/Sunna; Tide/Luna would have been cool. Tide is the only boy's name I'm aware of associated with the Moon.

Well, 'Tidus' would just be ripping off SquareEnix (and with 'Luna' we're already pushing it. Noctis and Luna for canon character names?)

Interesting...I like those for canon names. But I don't think Sun & Moon as games will feature them, perhaps just the comics & TV series.
