I've been playing through EB very slowly over the last few months in anticipation for this patch release, and now it's here and I'm not finished! Oh well, gba/snes era games STILL remain my favorite to play. I am so excited to actually be able to play a NEW(ish) game for this system. Mato (and the whole team) is my HERO!

It's your lost if you don't want to play it. For the ones that love the Mother / Earthbound franchise, we sure will enjoy this game.

Same game w/changed dialog? Similar maybe, but definitely different, and new to us English speakers.

For those in the know, it's one of the best, most original series that has come into existence! I've played through the first two Mothers again within the last few months...can't wait for this. Still need to scoop up a flash cart for the Micro for teh extra-portability!

Earthbound was on the SNES...

This is Earthbound 2...

Earthbound 0 was on the NES... known in Japan as Mother on the Famicom...
Earthbound was on the SNES... known in Japan as Mother 2 on the Super Famicom
Earthbound 2 is on GBA... known in Japan as Mother 3 also on the GBA

If you think Mother 3 is the same as Earthbound, your crazy!

No, this is not "the exact same game as the one on the SNES, but with slightly changed dialog". And if this how you actually feel about the game, then I honestly feel sorry for you. I don't know what I would do if I were to ever not get excited to play a new Mother game.

I have an old EZF 256MBit cart, thing is, I know I can fit 32MB ROMS on it. The Mother 3 translation changes that because I guess it's larger than my software supports. I may not really have the space for the cart, the rom does exceed 32 MB. So the question is, if I can fit it somehow, compression, cutting off unnecessary bitage here and there. I've tried using a rom trimmer and it couldn't trim any excess 00's or ff's which leaves me kinda stumped.

If anyone has an idea on how to make this game fit, thanks
