I thought Retrogamefan's updates worked on M3i Zero? If they do, why not just use them? And if they don't, just ignore this lol.

I'm kind of new around here, and I'm way behind, the last new flash card I bought was a M3 Simply back in 2005.

This was just the first patch I came across, and it works so I'm happy. I'll google for the other one you mentioned, I have a bunch of games I need to patch.

0. Make a backup copy of your original ROM, Copy/Paste
1. Open UPS Patcher.exe
2. Apply patch to an existing file
3. UPS Patch file to apply: - Browse and select you’re patch -
5477 Ghost Trick Phantom Detective (U)_Patch.ups

4. Target file to apply patch to: (file will be overwritten) - Browse - Select the ROM
5. Apply Patch

I know EXTREMELY late response, but... Phoenix Wright and Ghost Trick were created by the same guy, a Mr. Shu Takumi.

If you can't find a ROM that has text in-game, then it isn't the ROM. You must first circumvent the anti-piracy measures that are laid out within the game itself with either a patch or a firmware update.
