Hacking Ocarina with Gecko OS Wii (Compalibility with gamecube?)

I have the latest Gecko and Ocarina , but I was wondering if you can use the Wii Gecko OS Ocarina with GameCube games...

You can, but I recommend you use NeoGamma instead. It fixes some issues you would otherwise have with Gecko OS and GameCube codes.

Hm, Do I need to play around with the Hooks ?
I tried Wind Waker with hooks default and SD codes on but it just started with "Loading game "
then straight to the game...without the hacks...
