Is it possible to make direct nro forwarders to a rom inside the standalone melonds nro?

I haven't tried it, but it depends on if that standalone melonds supports specifying the ROM path as a parameter. Give it a try and let us know!

If it does work, we should add a preset for it to the dropdown.

You probably want to make a RetroArch forwarder, assuming that the zip file is an SNES ROM or a ROM for some other console.

This don't work for me. I tried to create a retroarch NSP forwarder but it crashed when try to run it.
i'm on the latest FW17.00 16.2AMS.

It's still there in the source code, I checked! but no matter what I try you can't directly load an nds rom in melonDS.

But when i hit generate it does nothing

Open up the browser's Inspector and see if there's anything being logged to the Console. My guess is an invalid prod.keys file though.

Error: key_area_key_application for keygeneration 1 is not present in keyset file.

I used an old prod.keys from when i first did this switch at like fw 2.0. I then tried to grab another new one after i updated to the latest firmware.

Will try to re-dump the keys and try again. Thanks

Started all over and redumped a fresh key using a new sd card and that winded up working. Thanks again!

hi i've been trying the website and it works great but the image doesn't load in the app icon, when installed the icon is a ? on grey background. i used a transparent png 256x256 maybe i'm using the wrong format but i've used a jpg too and still no image

Can you share the image that you are trying to use? IIRC there's a max file size limit that the Switch will accept (128kb?) and if the image is larger than that then it will just show the question mark. Maybe I can tweak the quality setting to ensure the size is within the allowed range.

Definitely a sigpatch issue for them; I have multiple retroarch forwarders working on 17.0.1 using your tool on Windows 10 in the Brave browser.

Hi i'll try with a smaller size image and let you know if anything changes. Also i'm at 17.0.0 and apart for the image problem the forwarder works flawlessly so i don't think that user's problem is the OS version
