For games over 32GB would it work if i compile it as nsp and not xci?
Yes, for installation there's no size issue.

Both nsp and xci bigger than 32GB will work if you install them, the issue is with xci emulation for mounting the xci. TX uses some data from a 32GB cartridge to emulate cartridges till that size, since there was no 64GB cartridge available they can't emulate those cartridges.

@xHR what's really weird is that both times times it happened for you after the first game but i just tried an autoupdate with 3 games and all 3 got downloaded fine.
The exception "Exception: local variable 'ctype' referenced before assignment" happens in this function: cnmtdata,files_list,remote=DriveTools.get_cnmt_data(file=remote)
That's called when the check firmawre from console is activated. If you deactivate that it will pass the googleid to the mtp handler but i think that error means google is denying the request.
If you want to check is this function on the mtp section from configuration:
"6" to check firmware on console before doing installations

Still i think it'll fail after that since it doesn't seem to be getting the file.

NSC_Builder v1.00b BugFixes
- Fixed issue where on some systems some search filters wouldn't show the message asking for an input.
- Fixed bug introduced by 1.00 that would stop the databases update in the middle of the process.
If you already have 1.00 setup you can just override ztools by the 1.00b version. There's no changes in the config files.

NSC_Builder v1.00

- 1. Added NSCB.exe
- 2. Direct xci and xcz installation over mtp from local sources
- 3. Direct nsp installation patching from local sources and standard crypto option
- 4. Direct xci and multi xci creation directly on the SD over mtp from local sources

You mean on the console?, that always happened randomly when you unmounted a xci, i think is due to sx not always installing the update placeholder.

Stange because NSC_Builder v1.01 (corrected) has the same?
try it on a game like fifa 21, when you patch the game he show the game Buildid and not the update Buildid with Interface
when you patch the game, the 1.00 version show the correct buildid
i discover this when i want to use a cheat file for the game ori and the will of the wisps

It shows the main base build id in the first window and all in "Files".
Here´s the example. Multicontent now shows all buildids, but i think what you're saying makes sense, if i show the update version and displayversion i should also show the update build id. That should be applied to languages too thinking about it. And apparently i'm showing the update titleid for multicontent instead of base, you made me think of a few changes for that window:

i mean you still can see the correct buildid but is in the files tab. It will show you all programs build ids now.
For example on the mario 3d all stars it'll have 8 build ids, it'll show you title - version and build id for each program.

Is just in the Titles tab instead of information, on the bottom of the section so you may need to scroll down a little depending on the game. It shows you the program id and version number. But i agree on the fact that the update version should be shown on the main window for those files.

In this case Mario 3D All Stars updated xci has 8 program nca (menu, mario 64, sunshine and galaxy) 0 to 3 in that order. Each has a v0, base and v65536 (update 1) in this particular case.

But yeah is noted and i'll correct it to show all data relative to the update on cases like the one you presented.

Yes thnx, i saw that, i use this no problem, i only check the buildID when i use a cheat codes for the correct game thats why i discover this, download that ori for 5 times and still the same build ID ( haha )

I have a combine xci of smash bros with update and all DLCs (50) and tinfoil can't install it but sxos can mount it and launch it

how should i go about install it for my atmos switch

So what could be the issue between build as nsp or xci? and only a few games?

and I did try other installers tealfoil, goldleaf fyi

I would have to look into the actual file I guess. Any log errors?
DBI should tell you in what ncas it fails, tinfoil I don't remember right now if it did, Rommenu from tx I think it also showed the ncas it failed on.
There's only a difference if you make it a multinsp with tickets if is ticket less it should be the same but if certain ncas were from cartridge they aren't patched on the xci version.
I mean the isgamecard patch but the installers should patch it themselves, the ones that take xci at least.
Basically on xci nscb will leave the is game card flag at 1 in things it detects are from xci origin, it will even restore it from 0 to 1 if it detects the nca came from a xci but was converted.

DBI do not support XCI install via MTP
He means trough nscb. I'm converting them on the fly.
I try to install the game in the following ways with DBI MTP running

1. install the AIO XCI - the update and DLC showed up on home screen with no base to launch game failed
2. install the cart dump only XCI installed fine
3. Install them all separate files on a list failed the same thing happen with AIO XCI

all files pass the nscbuilder verify that runs before it starts but all files had hashmismatch on the MTP responder on the switch
The hashmissmatch is because I don't patch the hashes on the cnmt so the files are restorable with the restore mode basically. Dbi is checking the filename I think and trying to match the first half of the nca hash with the filename. The file should work fine despite the warnings.

The nscb verification system is a little special since it figures out the changes on the headers and cnmt and does 2 hashes at the same time in case it detects the files were patched. One is the current hash of the nca and the other the one the nca had before modified.

One thing I can do in a next iteration is hash the nca while I push them trough mtp following the same concept.

I tried to instal from GD to MPT with siveral own drives with the same result, so it cannot be quota issue
So I mounted GD with GD buissness utility and set up it for local MTP storage and try AUTOUPDATE FROM LOCAL LIBRARIES

Update and DLC for BOTW was installed successfully, but otheк updates - no

@xHR Yeah, I was told verification is being enforced i was planing to look into it whenever i had time again and also add an option to disable it without going trough configuration. Other stuff i have to check and discard is not related to api limits.
