I just bought a switch, unpached, with FW 4.1, I was waiting for the weekend to install a CFW and yesterday my daughters connected it and updated it

While I wait for Atmosphere’s update, I have a doubt, that I have not been able to resolve looking for in the forum.

Can I use hekate - CTCaer mod v4.6, to make a correct backup of my nand being in FW v7.0 or do I have to wait for a new revision to come out?

Thanks!

Unless you already made a NAND backup on 4.1 then no, you're stuck until a CFW is updated, Atmosphere CFW is due an update in the next few days though. If you at least have a PRODINFO or boot1/2 backup, you could try rebuilding your NAND for 6.2.

Thanks for your answer:D

I am patiently (but anxiously) waiting for the new version of Atmosphere to support the FW 7.
I do not have any backup and do not want to downgrade the FW (because I know it's a difficult task).

My question was if I could use the current hekate version, to backup the FW 7 and save it as a backup, or if I could get a faulty backup given some compatibility problem.

You can still backup your 7.0 NAND, it just won't be of much use right now, but it's worth keeping for some amount of brick protection any time in the future.

Rebuild? Can you give me a link to instruction? I have emunand 7.0, and 6.1 sysnand, is it possible to make emunand 6.1 or 6.2 then?
