ok when i open sd card and when i open folder app i have only 4 files

I'm thinking of buying a PS3 and getting rid of this Wii since it's such a nightmare.

Whatever you want. I gave you a website that'll let you hack your Wii properly. You can follow that. You can get a PS3; just whatever you want to do. But I do ask that you post a thread in the Introductions section so other members can get to know you; it'd be cool if you did that.

I'm currently trying to play GC backups on my Wii through the use of CFG loader v70r51. I followed the installer on this page: http://gwht.wikidot.com/dios-mios I got to the part where it says to change the DML setting to DM, but I never saw an option there for it. When I try running a GC game from CFG loader it gives me this error: ERROR: the drive or partition usb:/ is not connected!! Press any button to exit... Yet my USB drive is connected and in the slot closest to the edge. I'm not sure what else to try or even is this belongs in this thread or warrants it's own thread.

Also Wii games load just fine.

Is your USB drive in the right format? FAT32 with 32kb or less sector size?

I thought it was FAT32, but I just checked it and it's NTFS. Would this be why GC games weren't working even though they were displaying in CFG?

Also am I to assume the DML/DM option doesn't even matter, or will it appear after I rectify the drive format?

Plug your SD card into your computer and delete the priiloader. DO NOT DELETE IT while your SD card is still in your Wii. And make sure the option at the bottom of the meta.xml file in both the WiiFlow folder and the cfg USB loader says <no_ios_reload>. You can open these files with Notepad.

ok i did the instalation of ios 236 again with success,next step was to install ios

• IOS56 v5661 with Title ID 0000000100000038 with the Pack WAD option switched on to get IOS56-64-v5661.wad
• IOS57 v5918 with Title ID 0000000100000039 with the Pack WAD option switched on to get IOS57-64-v5918.wad

i was following the steps that you gave in the link before,im able to install d2xv6 into IOS248 with base 56 but i cant install d2xv6 into IOS247 with base 57
it gives me an error net inid failed : -24
init network failed - 24
failed to get nus object tmd.5918
i have all the right files, the error file is on the root of the sd card IOS57-64-v5918.wad i checked 10 times,i still didnt edit xml files because i understand i need to do that after installing these two slots,and i can see both loaders in the wii menu but there is no loaders in the sd card in apps folder so i guess i need to install them again after i finish work with these two slots im right? just bothering me this second file 57 v5918

Is your Wii connected to the internet? Check the connection just to be sure. You don't install 248 on d2x and 247 on d2x; those two get installed onto d2x. And yes, move the loader files into the apps folder on your card.

OK, the sector size needs to be 32kb or less, to check this make a text file, add 1 character and save it and then right click it and hit properties. Size on disk should say 32KB or less.

File size 32kb, 32,768 bytes. It's a Notepad++ document, but that shouldn't matter in the slightest.

Went into WAD Manager and re-installed DM, said Finished....OK! So I assume it installed just fine, after I exited the WAD Manager by pressing the HOME button I got this page, I don't think it relates to DM but who knows: http://i.imgur.com/wo682yr.jpg

Going into the CFG (70r65) it shows DIOS MIOS 2.2+. I do notice however it shows this:

However I don't remember seeing such a directory on my USB drive. I can't imagine this would be something that would be the cause as I can play Wii games just fine, and as before I see no DM/DML option in the System menu.

I should probably press post after doing some typing, huh....Well here's my current progress: I booted Wind Waker, however after pressing start when the game promts the game took a second or two extra to load to the file select, and when something showed up the game froze with a loud GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR noise. A friend said I should try IOS250 instead of 248, but I'd rather see if anything else is the problem from people with the knowledge.

Total noob here, would appreciate if someone can point me to the right direction.

I had a Wii v3.2 which already pre-installed with HBC and Gecko 1.07b 002 fix iOS249. I only used it couple of times to play burned Mario Kart (came with it) and shelved it for 5 years. Now my dd wants to play some games, so I burnt a couple of ISOs and try to load it with Gecko OS, it shows blue screen with 002 error.

Did some research and then put Gecko 1.9.3.1 on an sd card, load it from HBC and click "Launch Game". Now I'm getting "No DVD Found" error everytime, either with the new games or my Mario Kart game (which still worked fine when launched using Gecko OS 1.07b)

I just wanted for this Wii to be able to play other (newer) games burnt from ISO, what should I do?
Do I need to upgrade the version to 4.3 first or anything? Please help me, you don't have to give me the full instruction, just point me to the right direction of what needs to be done, perhaps with a few link for me to find out further myself. Thanks!

It's not outdated; I used it a few months ago. You can't restore the Wii to factory settings. You might just have to delete everything and use LetterBomb to rehack it. Then just follow the steps in that tutorial to put everything back. You need to have a Wii powered to the Internet so you can enter in the MAC address to LetterBomb.

Just redo the hack... if you delete stuff, you can run the risk of messing up the system and there is no need (usually) to delete stuff. Redoing a hack will overwrite the current stuff so don't worry.
If you use a guide, like Mauifrog's, or hack config/downloader, ModMii, you'll be fine redoing your Wii.

So I finally got my Wii playing back-up GC games tonight. All is fine as far as I can tell so far, just a slight program. I soft reset (A+X+Start) Wind Waker, but it shut down my Wii instead or resetting the game. Is there a way to fix this? Also my save files for FEoR was made with a EU disc, yet I have a US ISO, is there a way to make the save file compatible in any way?

If there's no way to fix the soft-resetting I'll probably just buy some DVD-r's and burn them if that would work.

This might sound like a silly question, but why wont brawl work on USBloader GX? No matter what i try, I cannot get it to run. It freezes after a battle ends. I've had this problem no matter what usb loader I use.
If there is a way to burn a .iso to a disk to read, since mine is scratched, that would be wonderful.

Also, for some reason, I cannot delete brawl. I've removed the .wbfs file, yet usbloadergx still shows a title. When I try to uninstall that, it says 'title cannot be removed'. Help?

did you remove only the .wbfs but kept the sub-folder with the [GameID] ?

USBLoaderGX list games based on the found folders, not the found files.
Delete the folder too.

That solved the problem of the game appearing, but do you know how I can get a playable version?
