I would also like to know what is IOS250 used for.
Wii: 3.3U, IOS249 and IOS250 is on my system.
Also, Waninkoko or whatever his name is does an incredibly horrible job at documenting a changelog.
IOS250 is just a backup of IOS249 with maxed out version number
Ah, thank you. A follow up question: If ISO250 is a maxed out version number, doesn't that mean that the author himself can't update it anymore; or does he simply uninstall and reinstall it with each revision update? If so, doesn't Nintendo have the ability to do something similar if they want to remove it?
250 updates cause the version number is the same for every releaseSwansonE said:SwansonE said:tj_cool said:There are apps like signCheck that can see what IOS you have installedSwansonE said:What is the easiest method to determine the version of cIOS that I have installed?

I had viewed the thread once or twice but now, I can't find it...
I've done my searching but never found it...
I just need a guide how to change the wii system menu theme
whatever is installed on your wii's nand will be backed up including cIOS.pesaroso said:Quick question about NAND-backup:
Is one backup "better" than the other, on the same Wii?
I have a NAND-backup, dating back over a year, when my Wii was a virgin to softmodding.
I want to make another dump now, cause I forgot to keep the key-file ^^ But will this NAND-dump include the custom IOS's etc, or does it contain the system only?
Thanks!
pesaroso said:Ah, thank you, both of you! Really helpful
It contains savegames as well? Wow, didn't know that, it's not possible to extract them somehow from my old nand-backup then? I accidentally deleted a couple some weeks back >
Ok but where do I put it? Pretty much asking how to navigate through WADManager. It ask what IOS i want to use and it's defaulted as IOS249. Do I change this to IOS36 and install in there or...? I'm lost in where I'm suppose to load cIOS!longtom1 said:the only thing I know about dumping disks is you have to have cIOS 13 or lower and wifi dumps take forever
