Witcher 3 is pretty much graphical peak where they didn't affect nor gameplay nor story, as far as 3D goes. Anything less is fine, anything more at the sacrifice of core game elements is a waste. That said, graphics peaked around PS3-4 era, and arguably even before thanks to Crysis.

Like a happily broken record for all the right reasons - Terraria. Absolute masterpiece with fitting music and art style befitting the setting that only benefits from the chosen art style, as opposed to Minecraft looking dated and clunky instead of actually capitalizing on the 8-16bit pixel style.

It is interesting how CD Projekt Red's games have served as benchmark 3D titles for many years now.

What do you think about the upcoming Witcher 3 Remastered's graphics? Now that there will be 3 ways to play the game (Witcher 3, Next-Gen, Remastered) would you consider one of these the definitive way to play the game, or is playing whichever version your PC can run good enough?
