So, I tested more new 2D games.

FX Unit Yuki - The Henshin Engine - black screen all the way though there are sounds, which means the game is running, its just there's no image
Mute Crimson - launches, lets you scroll through the menu then freezes
Postal - same as Mute Crimson
Rocketron - same as Mute Crimson
ShadowGangs - launches then immediately freezes
Volgarr the Viking - won't get past the sega logo screen
Xeno Crisis - all messed up including the graphics and the sound

Tried messing around with the emulator settings - didn't really change anything

Not true. The game is working.

It hasn't changed much and runs like crap, which is sad as the game is simple 2D, but it runs.

I was never able to run Volgar, even on 0.54

It stopped booting on 0.57, for which we exchanged some messages on Github, as I let you know in one of the issues. I thought you fixed it on purpose, as it soon started working again in a subsequent release, right as it was before. Last tested on 0.74, just found out about 0.75, so I will test there.

Volgarr is still working: 0.74, 0.75, 0.76.

I don't have a Discord account, but you can send me stuff through PM. I left previous convo because there were no responses at all after I sent you the link you asked me.

I had previously noticed that entering Training Mode hard crashes the emulator in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (USA, CDI), and now i'm seeing that it also hard crashes when you're going into the second fight in Arcade Mode. (0.74, 0.75, 0.76, don't know if further back). Versus Mode also works for only one fight, going into a second one soft crashes the emulator with music playing on the background.

This game, surprisingly, even with the terrible sound and some micro pauses, runs full speed, but capped at 50 fps. I'm making a mini list of all the games that do that in this post.

BIOS still doesn't save the date and settings and will complain about it in every game unless you accept the default old date, but I know that's an old bug, I just didn't check again since the 0.5x builds.

Suggestion: can you make Reset button send a reset to the emulated DC?

yeah Mvc2 is a strange one, didn't suceed in resolving the bug. An issue is opened on github

I don't know for the cap 50 fps, maybe it's related to your bios ?

For date/time I plan to synchronise Dreamcast Time to Wii's time in the future

Suggestion : maybe in the futur... I'd like a different combinaison for everything :

- Hard Exit : - and + / L R Start
- Soft Exiting (console shutdown) : 1 + B / L + R + Z
- Reset : 2 + B / ????

Tell me your idea on these combo

EDIT : maybe I can override Reset button on Wii ?

It didn't stop working again since the 0.59/0.6X fix.

No other game would reach 60 fps if that were the case, but I'm using standard USA BIOS. Maybe some kind of priority issue with PAL over NTSC? These are your values, same as mine:

You want to change your default user_controls.cfg included in the zip?

- Exit:

Minus + Plus (Wiimote, Classic, WUPC)
L + R + Start (Gamecube)

- Shutdown:

L + R + Plus (Classic and WUPC)
1 + 2 + Plus (Wiimote)
L + R + B + A (Gamecube)

- Reset:

L + R + Minus (Classic and WUPC)
1 + 2 + Minus (Wiimote)
L + R + Z (Gamecube)

BTW, there is an important bug with the user_controls.cfg, I can't customize exit: exit_combo=classic_home is always DC Start anyways. I'm still stuck with Minus+Plus, which should only affect the Wiimote.
