Yes. use Modmii (link in my sig). the only limitation you will have is not being able to use DVD disc based anything (game backups or moovies)...but it's minor. USB loading is far superior.Denizzz said:I am thinking about getting the Mario Kart bundle that was recently introduced.
Will i be able to soft mod it and run Homebrew on this latest model?

So, i play the games off a flash drive? Iso files, i assume? Can you run more than one game from the flashdrive?
Does Modmii render Wii's drive completely useless?

The Twilight hack has been blocked for a few years now. New systems come with 4.3, which requires an exploitable game. Look at ModMii for a list of them.Denizzz said:brausm08 said:As brausm08 said it will be possible but you won't be able to use burned discs at all and you will need one of the exploitable games to hack your system.Denizzz said:I am thinking about getting the Mario Kart bundle that was recently introduced.

You can convert the games to wbfs files, which are a lot smaller than a normal ISO file. Games are anywhere from a few hundred megabytes (if they are really crappy) to almost 8 gigabytes. It all depends on the content. You can put games on a flash drive, but you won't be able to fit many on it (but yes, you can use multiple games), so a HDD is recommended.

Are you referring to the Zelda: Twilight Princess hack? I thought that wasn't necessary anymore?
Well other than a hardware related one, the only instance I can see is boot2 corruption, but I've never heard of it happening. If you want some basic info on bootmii (you may not need it, IDK), take a look at this post.Jehuty25 said:is there any kind of brick that bootmii/boot2 can't fix? real curious.
IF I were to partition, I would just use windows....it does a fine enough job.mrdavie said:Am in the process of modding a wii for a friend. Whats the best way / program to use to create a 40gb partition on his HD in order to put other stuff on it?
Yep everything including the Nintendo shopping channelDenizzz said:By the way, can i still use services such as Netflix after installing Modmii?
Also, does it matter which external hdd i get?
