i hope you know although adding intros may be possible, there is a reason why intros take so long. in the case of FF2, for snes, where you click on and boom title screen, thats just because theres less to load. in the case of a handheld gaming console, booting up can take a very very long time. its kinda like turning a computer on. it sorta takes a while. just a ds has less to boot, but if you consider the ds s hardware to a computer s, it all make sense. if you wanted to, you could easily get rid of all the pictures and stuff and just have a blank screen staring at you for 30 seconds. either way, unless if you are some real pro 1337 algorithm problem solver and come up with some kick-ass algorithm to load massive super graphicd intro movies in under a second, i highly doubt youll be able to get rid of them...

Amazing intros - I wish the current scene wasn't so lame and made up of groups who are nothing but webwares kiddies without a clue.

Come back Mode7, we want more intros!

i think we got 3 different meanings of 'intro' so far

- intro added by releaser group (it's like .nfo embeded into the game) -> which the original poster asked about & what No-Intro is for

- official game intro (some complain that these intros sometimes being too long and should be removed)

- modifying game intro to include hacker's name (because he/she translated the game or created a patch or etc)

I am in favor of game intros, those guys pay about 50 bucks to buy the game and dump it for you so you can download it for free, they deserve at least 20 seconds or whatever.
The same goes for fan translations.
