Nintendont detects neither my DS4 nor a GCN controller through the Wii U adapter. I tried to update controllers.zip thinking that would help, and every single time I am given this (http://puu.sh/vZAGa/b8a92c1bd3.jpg) error instead. Any ideas what could be keeping my controllers from working, and indeed keeping me from updating my controller profiles?

Try without the controller file. Most should be supported natively. The Wii U Gamecube adapter should definitely work.

As it turns out, I didn't have any controller files in the first place. Derp. I couldn't download them through the app itself on account of the crashing, but I grabbed the zip through the github and everything's working as intended now. Wonder why mine didn't work out of the box though?

The controller.zip isn't needed anymore due to the controllers being hardcoded into Nintendont. Both the DS4(Sony) and USB GameCube Adapter are included in Nintendont.

You know, it could be that when I updated from an older version I only overwrote the boot.dol and neglected the meta.xml. At least, that's the best explanation I've got.

Hi

I'd like to know if it's possible to run 2 instances of usbloadergx on the wii - one for wii only and one for Gamecube only. I'm noty sure if this is the right forum but as I'm wanting to set nintendont up with them I thought I'd try mu luck

Frank
There's a little menu button at the top you can press which toggles between showing GCN, Wii, or both.

Yeah - I just fancied having my GC games displayed separately from the Wii ones, So used to having seperate emulators for each system on my PC :)

What's the difference between PAL 480p and NTSC 480p display modes? Isn't 480p a NTSC only resolution?
Both settings can be forced in CFG USB Loader when launching GC games. When should one be used over the other?

well 480p is just 480p, the thing is 480p needs 60hz, you cant have 50hz 480p, so some pal games that dont like being forced to 480p due to 60hz being forced also just crash or dont start, while all ntsc games work perfectly with forcing 480p due to all ntsc games being 60hz only.

Have you tried it with Widescreen off? Some games don't like it.

The ISO has a verified MD5 so it can't be the iso. Also is the SD card in the SD Card Slot or a USB Card reader? If SD Slot, try a USB card reader as it could be that Nintendont can't load the game fast enough as the SD Slot of the Wii and Wii U are slow for some reason.

yup turn down force widescren and the random freezes will stop, some games randomly freeze with forced widescreen.

So "PAL 480p" is basically the same but also forces 60 Hz?
From what I understand, this means for NTSC games NTSC 480p should be used and for PAL games which support that mode, one would chose PAL 480p?

pal 480p forces the game to 60hz and 480p some will work some will not but is no diferent from ntsc 480p wich is much more compatible per say, so if your not using a pal game for its unique supported language you should always go for the ntsc iso imo.

I had done this test before and It worked nicely but, anyway thanks for the suport.

Is it possible in the future a correction for it? Because the Bloody Roar - Primal Fury in Widescreen is beautiful.

I ain't got any problens with force progressive.
