Would this allow me to use a Gamecube controller on any Wii U game? (Mario Kart 8, Pokken.. )
Thanks in advance, couldn't really find an answer

Thank you! P.S., how do you mention someone like you did?![]()
nintendont is a wii and vwii app that runs gc games on wii/vwii, why in hell would it allow to use a gc controller in wiiu games? you figure that out lol.Would this allow me to use a Gamecube controller on any Wii U game? (Mario Kart 8, Pokken.. )

what are you using the wii or wiiu with gc adapter? also are you sure your putting the controller on port1?*MAJOR EDIT*
Uh, it was a faulty USB! Should have tried a new one before complaining. Oups! Sorry! Never buy a TDK USB, anyone. (Explains why it kept disconnecting on its own on my laptop).
So, all's working and I find an issue againWhy is my Gamecube controller only working in Crash Tag Team Racing and not Sonic Heroes or Mario Kart Double Dash!! ? If it's because my Gamecube controller isn't official, is there anything I can do to make that work? It works in one game, so, surely something can be done? @GreyWolf
d2x already uses FatFS, but it's a rather old version (R0.08b): https://github.com/davebaol/d2x-cios/blob/master/source/fat-module/ff.cIkaruga chokes big-time on compact ISOs, too.
@GerbilSoft Have you looked into how difficult it would be to replace FAT32 in d2x with FatFS?
can you take a picture of your nintendont settings?Just to let you guys know that GC games still freeze , it wasn't the compressed ISOs....I really wish to know the problem because I don't want to rely on a random 32gb SanDisk drive for the rest of my life
The only one that doesn't freeze is the 32gb one that's identical to the 128gb one...can you take a picture of your nintendont settings?
if you turn width to auto or zero and force widescren and progressive to off and use one of your hdds or the 128gb one to see if it still crashes, just curious. The only one that doesn't freeze is the 32gb one that's identical to the 128gb one...
Yes, I have used the default settings, launching from USB GX or directly from Nintendont, formatted my drives with different recommended tools to fat32 32 cluster and 64 cluster ... The games don't freeze ONLY on the 32gb one , this is so sad and hilarious at the same timeif you turn width to auto or zero and force widescren and progressive to off and use one of your hdds or the 128gb one to see if it still crashes, just curious.
well its a problem on your side imo its your wii, if you have a friend with a wii or wiiu try running one of those hdds on his wii, i bet it will work.Yes, I have used the default settings, launching from USB GX or directly from Nintendont, formatted my drives with different recommended tools to fat32 32 cluster and 64 cluster ...
