no idea lol so the game randomly freezes for you? my only guess is posting all your nintendont settings.

when you press b when seeing the game list say what every option on nintendont settings you have on,off auto and such all of them.

Deafult settings exept I have mem card emulation on, with 59 blocks as i manage each game by its own save file. 59 blocks being the smallest to take up less space and if nintendont corrupts a save, it's no big deal to grab it from my backup folder.

are you sure you have all the default options? lots of ppl think so but they dont lol. doesnt hurt to try and post them just to be sure.

Also you never said what happens to the game does it randomly freezes? dont it freeze on a specific point?.

Yeah, everything is either on off or auto aprt from mem card emulation.

Yeah is just seems to randomly freeze, been playing Super Monkey Ball fine exept only game sounds were playing after about hlaf an hour. Just played 1080 and that played fine.

now that you mentioned you use a toshiba hdd someone said their toshiba hdd had a sleep timer of 3 mins so the poke to maintain hdds awake was changed to 2 min and 30 seconds could it be your toshiba has a sleep timer under 2 min and 30 seconds?

well try this i changed the awake time for the hdd to not sleep to 1min and 30 seconds just rename it to boot.dol and replace your nintendont dol so if your hdd has like a 2 min sleep this should work but i dont think formate will chnage the sleep time on the hdd tbh

it depends on the games some games acess the hdd constantly thats why they never went to sleep but some games load everything on startup and dont reuire to acess the hdd for long periods of time.

now that the kernel and loader are loaded together, is it possible to make the loader use the HID stuff (controller.ini in root or pidvid in controllers folder)?

Oh I see, that kinda makes sense then. But why would it suddenly start to happen? I've been playing the game for some extended sessions recently with my boys and no problems at all.

poke code was changed in 297 to 2 min and 30 seconds not only that but there has been massive usb code change from 297 up to 300 so alot of usb interaction changed.

He included mine I think, I added them to the list, if I recall I have a golden Chao and some Sonic, Shadow, Amy, Tails, and Chaos Chao, they can't be obtained easily in the game!

Actually, I DO have almost the same Chaos.
My save has an Amy, Tails, Knuckles, Sonic, Shadow, Chaos Chao (All 3 versions) and I even think some other forgotten rare Chao.
That's why I asked.

does anybody have a working HDD thats 2 TB, I am willing to go out and buy a working drive and send my HDD to further test this and get this resolved. Please let me know if you have the model or anything similar. Thanks in advance.

Reverted back to rev294 and so far so good. Lad's been playing for about 20min in various modes and no freezing......

just to confirm i played kirby air ride pal for like 45min and i didnt get any freeze on rev 300.
