Forgive me if I've overlooked this somewhere in the thread -- But I recently bought the 4-port Mayflash GC Adapter for Wii U - Amazing, btw! .. Works, really well with Nintendon-t .. My question is, how do I get back to the homebrew screen or maybe even the main Nintendon-t screen? Before, it was simply holding Start on the GC pad, but this isn't the case with the Mayflash adapter. Start IS start. Holding it doesn't do anything.

Thanks, in advance!

It uses a custom HID combo, which is L + R + Z + START

I wonder what's wrong with Dualshock 3 (CECHZC2R) and original Wii. I tried to use it to play Capcom vs SNK 2, which is obviously better than GC pad for this game and got weird reset at title screen - when i press start game just says "Capcom!" then screen goes black for about 2 seconds and i see those memory card and middleware logo screens again, as if somebody pressed the reset button combo.

Please help, accidentally started Kirby Air Ride using 'force progressive' and now it seems to want to freeze when playing this game. my syscheck in Modmii shows all my IOS's and CIOS's are up to date and I have tried using previous revisions when it last stopped freezing (back to r297). I am on a PAL Wii and the .iso is PAL region. I am running of a Toshiba 500GB HDD formatted to FAT32 with full .iso's and had no problems before Here is my syscheck just in case:

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

EDIT: I have a 1TB WD My Passport that I was planning to upgrade to but unfortunatley I can't give any more info on the Toshiba HDD. Don't know if it's a fault with the HDD if anyone thinks formatting my 1TB to FAT32 and trying that may help I might give it a go....

why do ppl insiste on force progressive for pal games? no idea if you want progressive you should use the ntsc version.

Force progressive can only work if you use 60hz so try to force pal60 and then force progressive but that still doesnt garantee the game will work becuase the pal game was never meant to be used with forced progressive on the first place.

also if you used 298 your save files probably went corrupt afew of them so check your hdd on pc for errors on the saves and delete the ones that got corrupted.

Read "Accidently"

I never use 'force progressive' and personally think the difference is minimal anyway. I had it on for an NTSC version of anotherr game.

if you put forced progressive off then its off theres nothing more to it forced progressive doesnt save anything so if you start the game with it off it will be off, make sure your save files didnt went corrut when you passed trough 298.

Yeah I turned it off, just having a night of experimenting with some NTSC games that support Progressive scan. Could a corrupt save cause crashes ingame?

EDIT: Just tried the game with mem card emulation off and used a copy of the .iso from a backup folder and still freezes. Not sure what to try next other than it could be a possible HDD fault...?

Just tried Super Monkey Ball and playing fine at the moment. I'll try going back a few more revisions just to be sure and report the results.

dont use 298

298 corrupts stuff dont ever go back to that one make sure your kirby iso is fine check the md5 and compare to redump just incase it got corrupted on 298.

I say so because I added some... Unique chaos to my SA2 Chao Garden data. :P
But yeah only add the RE games to the list. :)

Thanks!
He included mine I think, I added them to the list, if I recall I have a golden Chao and some Sonic, Shadow, Amy, Tails, and Chaos Chao, they can't be obtained easily in the game!

No, all original display methods. Any chance you could point me in the direction of an MD5 compare and redump please? Never had to do that before.
since you said its pal here is the pal md5 from redump

MD5 6732cefabda3b8c8c590a2157ed2e45b

if you dont have a tool to check for md5 here is the link it will take afew seconds to analise the iso so dont expect to be instant lol
http://www.mediafire.com/download/5y3tfpoil433rij/MD5_SHA-1+Utility.exe

every shrunken game will fail to match md5 with redump btw becuase all md5 from redumps are from full 1.35GB isos.
