Im not sure if i actually understood what you can and what you cant do with nintendont. Is it correct, that there is no way to play multiplayer? Is there no way to USE WiiMote and/or Nunchuck?

guys, nunchuck support is not as easy as button swapping.
Anyway, request has been raised (too many times) and rejected by dev. As always, if someone is going to do it, they will do it. If not then do it yourself or wait patiently.
Stop repeating the same thing and create more hatred.

I don't mean to be mean, but this is an enthusiast application on an enthusiast forum and such a workaround for those who are not willing to buy a common, dirt-cheap USB HID controller, a CC, or an adapter for one of their other controllers would really be catering to people who probably don't even care enough to adapt to such an obscure and unrealistic control scheme to make sure of it. It's a waste of time.

You completely missed the point.

So if Nintendont runs Gamecube games in Wii mode, that means the wireless antenna is still running right? Does that mean something like GCARS-CS can be recoded to use the wireless antenna instead of the broadband adapter?

Forgot to report an interesting finding too, Mario Kart Arcade GP works in FST mode, but it is actually way way slower (like a magnitude slower) than having it in ISO form. In general I find FST mode in Nintendont is actually slower than DIOS MIOS, does anybody know why this is?

I tried to play Resident Evil 3 ( PAL ) on latest Nintendont and FMVs are stuttering for me. Could anyone else check that ? The game itself seems fully playable. I checked Luigi's Mansion and it booted fine, the intro FMV works great too.

Regular Wii, Gamecube controller, Nintendont r2.155

-Sonic Gems Collection (none of the 3 games work anymore)
-Simpsons Hit and Run (working)
-Need for Speed Most Wanted (working)
-Godzilla Destroy All Monsters (works fine, no reset after the first match)

All other games in my list behave exactly like they did in r2.152 (before blutooth support) I hope Sonic Gems Collection and Sonic Adventure DX get some love also I realized Billy Hatcher is the only game that doesn't save in my list for some reason (and I can confirm that Mario Kart DD saves and loads just fine) some games take time on the save and load screens because of the 16 MB MC, a few good examples Spyro Down of the Dragonfly and Taz Wanted, but aside from the slow down in the save screen they work fine, save and load with no problems so no problem here!

I also noticed that Dragon's Lair 3D runs at the right speed, no speed up, can anybody confirm that? TMNT however still runs fast!

I tested my Wiimote to see if blutooth work, since I don't have a CC, Wiimote works fine with menu (not sure if it worked before or not), after game starts all 4 lights on Wiimote are on all the time, not sure if that's normal or not!

One question though, since blutooth support was added which is yet another biog update by Fix wouldn't it be logical to change the name of the build "r3.155"? I dunno I'm just thinking!

Question: does Wii U Pro work with a regular Wii? I never really liked the classic controller so I never bothered getting one especially since I have the more superior GC controller, but if Wii U Pro controller works with regular Wii I'd get one!

btw I forgot to mention, I'm not sure if this is known or not but hitting the reset button on Wii to reset the game, many games just crash instead, just thought to mention that!

The WiiU Classic Controller ordinarily does not work in Wii mode - which is why I've yet to buy one (they're not cheap!). I believe it supposedly works with Nintendont now though.

I tried the NTSC version and it works fine. It could be a side effect of the game being forced to run in 60Hz - the PAL version is one of the few 50Hz only games (no 60Hz mode). That said, I did used to force the game to run in 60Hz back in the day with no issues, so it is weird.

yes it does on the wii menu press the sync button both on the console and on the controller it will blink and shutdown right after, even if no led got lighted up it was synced on your wii, then when you start a agme in nintendont just press any buttom to activate the controller.

I only focus on ISO loading so I added a ISO offset cache and file caching as well as file pre-loading when it notices the game reads a file in small chunks like animal crossing for example which all helps to drastically improve loading times.

Thanks to the team for all the hardwork on nintendont, it's just great !

I'm using nintendont 2.155 on a Wii U, with a wireless Wii U Pro Controller. I can play Mario Sunshine (even tho I miss the analog shoulders button, but that not the issue here). The problem I have seems to be related to the dead zone on the analog stick being to small or inexistant. When I move forward with Mario then stop moving (releasing the stick); most of the time Mario slowly turns back 180 degrees and ends up facing the camera. It causes miscelaneous issues like having trouble talking to the Piantas, or sliding off blocks and stuff.

I hope in a future version you can increase the default dead zone or add a way to define the dead zones in an .ini file.

Thanks !

it still does at 1.5 times speed ateleast the pal version i have you can compare it to real footage the game is suposed to be much slower

Oh I never mentioned the classic controller and wiiu pro controller calculations dont have any deadzones whatsoever so yea, that can happen. I dont know yet how I will deal with that problem, most games got a deadzone calculation inside thats why its not too high on the priorities.

That's just like synching a Wii remote, hmm, does it work with games that support CC like Wii VC?

it only registers the pro controller, the wii programs dont know how to deal with it though so you cant connect it to anything else than programs which actually have code to support it like nintendont. Oh and if you think to just "add support" to nintendo programs, you would need to modify every single game by hand so its unlikely to ever happen.

That's not what I was thinking, I thought maybe Nintendo were lazy and just coded the Pro controller to behave just like the CC so that Wii games will think you're using the CC when you're actually using the Pro one, now that I think about it this sounds silly!
