Hacking Nintendont

My biggest issue so far is that every time I load a new game, that game seems to want to format the memory card. How do I get around this? My wife is fairly eager to try Pikmin.
If you pick a "multi" save it'll only happen once then every other time with any game will work without needing to format anymore!
 
Got myself a copy of the MegaMan X collection. Raw dump here and the psx games work flawlessly albeit with weird lines in the graphics here and there but that's probably cause these games were meant for interlace screens. The fmv's work fine too. Gotta say I'm so freaking happy to be able to play these gems of my childhood on my gamepad :) Again I just can't express my gratitude to the programmers of Nintendont enough. Sorry, I'm too excited about this xD

Actually, that's the wii's GPU. I have that same problem. It is very noticeable in the fog in Windwaker.
 
ok guys, in cfg when loading a GC game with nintendont in vwii, it will work for a while but after loading a couple of games and going back to menu, it will give me an error saying that ios 222 is not there and I need to install it when loading a game while still in CFG. Anybody knows how to fix this? thx
 
Question regarding latest wiiflow and nintendont, and wiiu pro controller.

1. If I launch nintendont from the homebrew channel, and select a game from my menu, I am able to press A on my WiiU pro controller, and it then syncs with my WiiU as the 1st controller, works phenomenal btw!

2. And this is my issue. I am now able to launch individual gamecube games from wiiflow. But, nintendont stops halfway through its checklist, saying I need to have a hid controller inserted into my USB port. But in doing that, the hid controller becomes the 1st controller, and my WiiU pro controller becomes the 2nd controller....

How can I make it so when I launch a game from wiiflow, that my WiiU pro controller is the player 1 controller?

Mario Kart Arcade GP with Classic Controller is fully working. No bugs so far, even the HOME button works great to go back to the loader.


Hmm, I got a blank screen (like Luigi's Mansion) I am on the Wii U -are you using the Wii or Wii U?

Star Fox Assault (NTSC-U) - Hangs on memory card screen.

It's not a total freeze as I can use the Home button to exit. Can someone confirm this? Pedro702 suggests using full rips but I'm all about saving as much space as possible so I'll hold out on that idea until absolutely necessary. Also, which of the Resident Evil titles are currently working?

I'm afraid your tests are not worth much if you're not willing to do so with full rips first... Test with a proper image to confirm compatibility, then test again with a compressed version if you must. Doing so will save you time and avoid ambiguous compatibility findings from spreading.

That said, this is from the wiki:

"Memory card emulation last working on v1.49. This can be fixed by calling EXIInterrupt() in EXI.c after line 449."

I haven't seen in the changelog where a developer has made the suggested fix yet, nor do I have any idea if it would fix the game.

also i i dont know much about this just started using it but what the hell is exi.c
 
did you copied the full controller ini or your just changing values? if your manualy changing values you need to not forget to change also the L and R not just the digitalLR=2

L=12,F0
R=13,F0


i copied everything exactly. after testing mario sunshine, i couldn't run and gun by lightly pressing R.
 
Is there any needed steps to get a triforce game working with nintendont? I can't get Mario Kart GP to load.
 
OK, so that I am 100% sure what's going on here. The "compressed" isos means the dios-mios compressed format right? Not a ciso or similar am I correct? I assume that I am due to the fact that you're talking about the FST which I'm sure was only mentioned in those tools.
