If you're interested, I have compiled "forwarder_no_splash_v12" sources and packed it in your WAD
Sources of the forwarder are included.

works great in my Wii, Nintendont boots and launches games perfectly. It checks for Nintendont\boot.dol first, then Nintendont\loader.dol (if boot.dol not found)

the channel works fine loads game perfectly, but unfortunately the game will freeze if you try the Reset/Power off button combo

I do, but as long as you use the equivalent to the port which is used for power on your HDD, then it should work okay.

Maybe I'll get that extension cord. We get it rough here in Canada but I bet I could find a HK shipper on ebay.

Occupied by my HDD. I didn't even know you had to rename it controller.ini, but I did rename it, got the game to boot up when it was plugged into the power (I guess data is top)

However, even still, there was no response whatsoever. The game loaded fine but I couldn't actually do anything. Do I need all of the files from HID test? I downloaded the PS3.ini file from here and renamed it.

Thanks for the help guys! Sorry I'm in a bit of a rush so if my sentences don't make sense...sorry.

I require some assistance!
I've been trying for 2 days to get my game noticed by Nintendont, but it's not working!
I put the .ISO in my games folder, and even have put it through DMToolbox to make it a 1:1 raw ISO, but it's not working! And before you say that I probably misnamed it or put it in the wrong directory, then here's my location: H:\games\Mario Kart - Double Dash!! [GM4E01]\game.iso (that's the game, not a folder)

someone please help me! ;-; I really wanna play Mario Kart Double Dash ;-;. And I have an SDHC card if it matters.

Also, I don't have WBFS installed, but im sure that you need that for GC games

Unless you changed something from OJ's USB addition to this nintendont .... I have always had to use back port for nintendont USB loading since the start and tried many r/versions that tried to fix this.
Would be nice to use front USB with nintendont USB loading.

I love how you told us what the problem was.

Reset works perfectly on my wii, with the forwarder

it resets back to the main menu of the wii

I don't know why but i tried it again let it sit for 5 min. still froze, what wad manager are you using anyway, i have been using multi mod manager 13.4 and tried wad manager 1.7 still can't get it to reset right it works fine if you load nintendont from homebrew channel then reset but not from the forwarder channel

I don't think that a different wad manager can make it work or not. A wad is a wad, installed with wad manager, MMM, or anything else, it should work the same.
I used Yet Another Wad Mod Manager

my setup :

PAL Wii (3.2E)
Nintendont (latest version : 1.20, renamed boot.dol+meta.xml+icon.png) on both my SD and my HDD (partition 1, FAT32, used also for my GC games) so I can use it alone (from SD) or with a loader (from HDD)
priiloader patches (block online and DVD update, replace start menu with back menu)
official GC pad
Parameters : memory emulation, nothing else

Do you have meta.xml in the same folder ? (apps\Nintendont)

yes I have nintendont 1.20 with boot.dol, meta.xml, and icon.png in the same folder i have ntsc-u wii 4.3u
i also have gamecube games on a 32gb sdhc card from sandisk formatted to fat32 with 32k cluster size

I have a problem when Im trying to load a game. Nintendont freezes when "Checking FS..." and I have to shutdown my Wii.

Any ideas?

Actually, i think it's a timing issue, i got the same problem with my hdd sometimes, but after i turn it off/on, the game usually starts.

I noticed it is only doing that after i have used another homebrew that can use the HDD, like WiiXplorer, and go back to nintendont and start a game.

Also it happened to me, in order to avoid misunderstandings about possible errors, I replaced the HDD (y cable) with a usbstick and verified. Then I also tried changing usb ports.
