Hi, I have a not very common question:
I've been developing a mod for Skies of Arcadia Legends with an old computer that used Windows XP. A couple of months ago, I finished the first verison of it, and made several test playthroughs on
Nintendont, and it worked perfectly.
Nintendont was capable of playing the modified ISO with no problems, and each small update I was doing to it worked fine, never had a problem with loading the ISO through
Nintendont or putting the iso on a usb Device (I used DML Converter to pass the ISO to the usb).
A few weeks ago, that computer died, and I'm stuck with a Laptop using Windows 7. Since then each time I try to put the iso into the very same usb devices I used back then, the game stops whenever goes to black, or just does not boot up.
Not even a clean, unmoded iso of Skies of Arcadia. Doesn't matter if I just drop the "game.iso" file or if I use DML Conv, it just does not work.
Of course the dump I have is verified as correct, and as I said, I've been working with all this for almost a year having no problems until I had to switch to Windows 7.
The question is: Is there something I should know about Windows 7 that is causing me problems? Do I need to format the usbs for Windows 7, even if they seem to work and are recognized without problems? Do I need other steps to put isos on the uSB so after I load them on Nintendont? Could be the Laptop?
It's driving me crazy. I'm considering installing Windows XP just because of this.
I know probably nobody will be able to answer this, I just wanted to try anyway.
