In Europe they promised that by the end of 2013 we'd have Nintendo TVii (I'm guessing it's kinda like Netflix) but so far nothing and honestly I couldn't careless about TVii so I wish they'd get rid of that icon because it's misleading advertisement.

I play games on my Wii U, and occasionally surf the web (thank god it's the Opera browser) plus watch YouTube videos.

Another annoyance about the Wii U is that the "Pro Controller" lacks real triggers which even Dreamcast a console of the 6th gen had whereas Wii U being from the 8th gen doesn't. Digital buttons are too imprecise and if Luigi's Mansion 2 or Mario Sunshine 2 were to come to the Wii U they'd probably come up with the "Wii U Pro Controller Plus" which they should've released first and foremost.

Let's not forget that Mario Kart 8 is on its way this year so hopefully they will consider it.

By the way, don't compare Mario Kart 7 to MK8, MK7 is on the 3DS so you can't expect a portable gaming system to have triggers.

Here in the States our Nintendo TVii does work and I like it. It is not like Netflix. What it is is an interface that lets you interact with live TV. Sometimes they ask you questions (Multiple choice) that you can respond to. It also allows you to doodle on frames that you see then allows you to share the doodles. It will also incorporate itself with Facebook or Twitter if you allow it to, as well as interact with your Miiverse.

I have to disagree with what you said about the pro controller. I think its the best feeling controller since Xbox 360 was released.

The Pro Controller has absolutely no accuracy whatsoever which is the issue with it, if it had triggers it would've been better than 360's controller.

Can't comment on the official pro controller but did purchase the GAME branded pro controller for 1/3 of the price and is quite nifty with LED's that light up all the buttons.

Every TV channel ?
What TV shows does it work for ?
Well I had it work with Bones, Walking Dead, Grimm, Pawn Stars, Arrow, Tomorrow People, Revolution, and tonz of others. So far it has worked with at least 98% of what I have tried. My cable system is Time Warner so I have a LOT of channels.

It is pretty weird that the "triggers" on the Pro controller (and gamepad as well) aren't actually triggers but just buttons.

Weird.
For Pawn Stars, how many Wii U owners would be chatting about it ?

i agree with the TVii icon , annoys me they sold me a system with a promise of a service that hasnt materialised.. not that i bought it for this service but still its there. I did enquire about the service back in May of 2013 . and this is the reply , basically fobbing me off.

Dear Nintendo Customer,
Thank you for your email.

With regard to TVii, unfortunately we do not currently have an announced release date. Release dates are typically announced on our official website, which can be visited at the following address:
http://www.nintendo.co.uk
I’m sorry that we could not provide you with a specific release date at this stage, but hope you continue to look forward to this application.

Kind regards,

i haven't got any issues playing call of duty with both controllers or even racing games like sonic transformed and besides there is already a luigi's mansion 2 and doesn't need triggers so port it to the wii u won't be an issue and you mention sunshine 2 and if i remember correctly the move you use by sligly push the triggers is useless and i doubt they would include it on a sequel to sunshine. the wii u controllers might not have triggers but they are still way better than the dualshock 3 triggers and on the nintendo tvii issue well i live in mexico and still haven't got it. do i blame nintendo? not really i think it's more like tv providers issue over here

Typical Nintendo CS reply (skills required for the job, errr ...copy ...and ...paste) ....Nintendo should just tell the truth, theres not going to be any Nintendo TVii service for the UK.
