Feels a little cheaper. But no big deal for me. I always recommend keeping original parts anyway unless your are replacing a broken part.

Hey, I did that with a wristwatch I found in the early 90's. Took it home and smashed that expensive watch on some rocks to see what was inside it.

You usually can't get clear plastic that is matte because then that wouldn't be clear, it would be translucent. Though I can't say for sure as I don't have the clear joycon shell

Well the amazon posting has updated and apparently they are listing it as "matte clear". So I guess it is matte. Which for clear plastic I guess would mean it's not as shiny as it could be with a glossy plastic. But unsure how it will actually look and feel. Maybe I'll buy them at some point.

OP says they don't like the clear looking one so probs didn't order. I will let you know when mine arrives in 12-20 days :3
