I might do that and roll the dice on one of the consoles then.
Noooo, you should try other reason, we are trying to figure out what specifically causes ban!

Airplane Mode just delays a ban. If you notice, its been removed from the questionnaire. That's because as long as you enable Airplane Mode, you have pretty much banned yourself. Not to mention that Airplane Mode can get disabled when switching between handheld, docked, and sleep mode. The only real purpose of Airplane Mode is to prevent accidental connection to Nintendo Hotspots if your bringing the Switch out into the open.
Another user made a brief tutorial on how to manually "clean" out the NAND if you are willing to give it a shot. It may be a thread on EmuNAND but the part on "Cleaning up SysNAND" may come in handy. I cannot guarantee whether this method is safe or not however.Dumbass here. I had simply watched a Nevercholt Tech tutorial vid on YT to get ReiNX on 6.2 and completely overlooked backing up my NAND and disabling internet. As soon as I booted into CFW, I had launched Homebrew App Store and just looked at the catalog for a few moments before realizing the mistake I was making. This was about an hour before this post. I'm currently on stock FW playing Puyo Puyo Tetris online to see If I'm banned or not. Is it only a matter of time from now?
hi! thanks for your reply! i ask to you too.. i'm safe to use legit game cart on new console untouched only for online playing that i have used before on banned console? This is the reason you were banned. You updated your .XCI files online which voided your clean NAND. Then when you restored your clean NAND, you sent a red flag to Nintendo since now they could tell you flashed a NAND backup (because it differed from the tainted NAND you used when you updated your backups).
If you never went online with that cartridge with the banned console, you will be fine. If you did go online with that cartridge on the banned console, there is a hypothetical risk in getting that console banned but as long as the other console is not hacked, its safe.hi! thanks for your reply! i ask to you too.. i'm safe to use legit game cart on new console untouched only for online playing that i have used before on banned console?

If you're feeling paranoid, you can follow this tutorial on a way to clean your SysNAND without a NAND backup but I can't advise anything about its safety or guarantee.Hello all,
I've been using SX OS since it was readily available for US shipping. I've updated the console and even a few games over the internet. I've never played anything online whatsoever, nor do I really have any desire to. Never used homebrew or NSP installers. Currently on 6.0.0 OS.
Also, a NAND backup in this stage of my console wouldn't be worth anything right? I am currently creating one just because. But I am assuming since my system isn't really "clean" the backup probably won't be of any benefit.
Been reading through the thread (backwards) so I may come across the answer eventually.
Really just curious if I should do anything at this stage or just keep rawdogging it as I've been.
Thanks,

Considering that most, if not all, of the homebrew only bans involved someone using a save editor/dumper with Splatoon 2, it might be the closest thing we have to "insta-ban".Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask this question but I figured it's the best place to do so. So in the past I've had SX OS. Had it since early July and still not banned. I did use a save editor to fiddle with my Xenoblade 2 save. I want to buy Splatoon 2 and for some reason I have a feeling that game has the harshest 'detectability" I guess to see if I've used a save editor. Does anyone think if I bought and ran splatoon 2 I'd be banned if it picks up on using the save file manager? Keep in mind I never used it with Splatoon 2. Just XBC2

I'm thinking about get Splatoon 2 to play offline, so use edited save shouldn't be issue if played 100% offline?
