Gaming Nintendo Letterbox/Swapnote April 4th Update

I kinda think we won't see it today anyway. That said, what if it's already there but we can't get it since Letterbox got no integrated update function? For all we know, the Letterbox in the Eshop could be the updated one already, but as the button only says "already downloaded", we won't know for sure, unless someone's willing to give it a try. (removing Letterbox and redownloading it from Eshop)

Woudnt that delete all your letters in the process?

Btw guys just got a letter from 'Nikki' saying 'Now you can send photos wth your letters' so i think it auto updated for EU (Well I'm an ausfag so im in the PAL region)

It seems some people got it, its region sensitive (Check the link in my sig for more information)

its called unlocking features
the more letters you send the more features Nikki Will unlock for you

please check all of your information, as alot of it is wrong

i unlocked pictures when it was first released back in December 2011

as it states on the App page
Unlockable goodies
Write for rewards! The more letters you send, the more special stuff you can get your hands on, and don’t worry, help is at hand: when you first start the software you’ll meet Nikki, a friendly little Mii who will explain everything you need to know to get started, and she’ll pop up again every time you unlock something new to tell you all about it!

I'm on latest 5.1 firmware but my letterbox is still the same, no new software updates on eShop either.

It came from Nintendo EU's press release last week monday, it's extremely annoying when an something is promised and there's no explanation of its absence

Yep. We can delete stationery now too. (good for saving the japanese versions in a note, then sending them later.)
