Gaming Nintendo dsi brightness does not change

Hello everyone, 3 years ago I bought a restored nintendo ds. Everything was great, but suddenly the brightness of my console stopped changing. I tried through the settings and the select keys + sound keys, but it does not change. Does anyone have any guesses?

Are your volume keys working? You could try changing the brightness some other way such as System Settings or nds-bootstrap's in-game menu.

Yes, I tried all possible ways, but the brightness still does not change

It's probably a hardware issue. It always helps to see if you can find tutorials online for troubleshooting or even if there's a local business that does repair work on game systems (I have one near me)
