Nintendo Direct Mini March 26th - roundup

Actively eschewing all previously known methods of Nintendo Directs, Nintendo has decided to randomly upload a mini version of their Direct, with no forewarning. The video is 30 minutes long and features multiple announcements, which will be recapped here shortly.

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition launches May 29th.
The game will be getting a DLC expansion epilogue, covering more story content.
Game is getting a special edition.

Borderlands, Bioshock, and XCOM hit the Switch. Borderlands Legendary Collection and XCOM 2 launch on May 29th. Borderland's release includes 1, 2, and pre-sequel, XCOM 2 will include its DLC.

New trailer for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.

Shinsekai: Into the Depths announced. Is an underwater exploration game with crafting.

Animal Crossing New Horizons is getting an Easter event patch, featuring Bunny Day items. Another update will also come in April, adding more there as well. Leif will return.

Catherine: Full Body confirmed for the Switch, releases July 7th.

Free update is headed to Ring Fit Adventure, with a rhythm game mode. 17 music tracks from various Nintendo games, such as Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, and Splatoon 2. Download it today.

ARMS will be the next Smash DLC roster character. More news coming soon.

Bravely Default 2 footage. The brave and default combat systems return, using BP to attack. You can defeat bosses to earn jobs for your characters that allow them new fighting abilities, which can be combined.

A demo is available today. The full game launches 2020.

Trials of Mana April 24th.

A bunch of tabletop games are headed to the Switch, including solitare, poker, mahjong, toy baseball--51 games in total, with local and online versus. June 5th launch.

The Nintendo Direct Mini also revealed upcoming content for currently available Nintendo Switch games like a free update for Ring Fit Adventure, more details about the upcoming paid DLC for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, as well as news that the first fighter in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2 is arriving from the ARMS game.

It was just ok for a mini direct. If it was full direct I would say it was bad. Nintendo without their first party exclusive games is just another company. Their games is what makes them special. I hope the rumors about Mario games coming to switch are true and we will see it in the next direct.
