Gosh dang it, I didn't realize how much I liked Undertale until I saw it announced. I swear I won't become trash though.

I also wish LM was on Switch but I could say that about every game here.

Nintendo is going very well with the switch lineup! Once I saw Crash Bandicoot, Mario Tennis and Super Smash Brawl I almost passed out due to excitement!!

I didn't expect two of those, like, yeah, that Smash teaser is just cruel lol. Crash though, heh, hope it's a good port (*cough* unlike the Gamecube Crash Wrath of Cortex *cough*)

Wow, I didn't expect the amiibo or the Smash announcement. Super excited to play Crash Bandicoot again, and I can't wait to try Little Nightmares .

Luigi's Mansion on the 3DS makes me wonder if this is their way of saying "no Gamecube VC" for a little longer. It's nice that it's finally getting the 3D treatment that was scrapped for the Gamecube version during development but without the analogue shoulder triggers to control how strong the vacuum sucks like the GC version, it might play a little "off".

Still a very good Direct considering it was only announced yesterday (I tuned out during the Mario Tennis bit) and it's only 3 months until the E3 version so I can only imagine the massive surprises they have.

If I have to be a downer, it's the fact that ports that should've been released alongside the Xbox/PS version are being re-released again a few months later at full price.

This direct can be summarized with two sentences:
"Lotsa Switch games!" and "Nintendo: 'What? Wii U was actually a thing?'"

Can you blame them? Wii U was a disaster.
No I don't blame that they want to port the titles they consider as good titles.
But man, poor Wii U, at this rate it will be more useless because it will end up having no exclusive and enjoyable titles because of so many ports, ports and ports.
Now it's only a matter of time that they port Wonderful 101, TMS #FE, Mario 3D World and Xeno X and Boom! Now nobody will need a Wii U because they will play its games on Switch
(Yes, not that anyone needs one at this point)

This stream was above average. They actually had a lot of new announcements, and they didn't go on about Mario Tennis for 20 minutes talking in great detail about all the little features no one cares about.
Even if most of them were ports/remakes, I haven't played Bowser's Inside Story at all and barely played Okami HD so I'm actually glad they're getting ports/remakes, it'll give me an incentive to play them.
I don't know why I got so excited about Undertale, I've beaten that game from start to finish like 3 or 4 times already. It was just completely unexpected, and having Undertale on the go can be fun.

Also, that Smash announcement at the end, I'm wondering if this is a new game, or a port, or just more DLC for the 3DS/Wii U versions. It seems a bit early for a new Smash game already since the Switch is still so new, even though it's been years since Sm4sh was released. It said Nintendo Switch so it's probably not DLC for the existing games (unless they release the DLC alongside a port, which I certainly hope they do rather than just releasing it as part of the port like they did with MK8D)
But I really hope it's a new game. I'm about ready for a new Smash, I do like Sm4sh a lot but it kind of gets old after a while, I can't keep playing largely the same characters and stages forever.

Meh, oh well. They stopped Wii U production, best to just let it die off.

The font, logo, etc are different. There's no real title, it's a new game, not a port.

After 7 years the 3ds still have games releasing on the system, I haven't played inside bowser as well as captain toad, and Luigi' s mansion is a nostalgic dream coming true, anyway when is coming metroid prime trilogy at the 3ds;)?

Smash is obviously going to be new. If it were a port, they'd have indicated it. If it were DLC, it would have been more than a basic teaser.

Dark Souls is going to be abysmal on the Switch, I can already see it. Oh boy...

Okami is meh, at best. May actually play it now that it's going to be on a system I own.

Undertale is meh.. Never cared for the game. Not sure why it has such a following. I digress.

I enjoy the Mario sports games. So, Tennis is a definite yes for me.

I'm extremely saddened that the Switch isn't seeing Warioware or Luigis Mansion. Captain Toad is "meh".

Crash was the one I was waiting for. Will definitely pick that up.

All in all this direct was a 6/10. So little excitement and too much time wasted. Some decent announcements though. Even if half of them were ports.
