Hi guys,

I first want to thank ninjahax for this awesome program. :)

I do have a question. This is my first time using ninjahax.

When I launch regionfree with a sky3ds and play a game the 3d tracking doesn't work at all.
I'm on firmware 9.4.0.21U.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a fix for this?

thankyou...

Close the lid. Reopen the lid. (your 3d should be all screwed up anyway if you don't do this on both GW and rxtools)

If that doesn't fix it, then no.

Hi,

Yes. It's a N3ds. I tried to close the lid and reopen, no go. :(

I know that GW has this bug for a while now.

Has anyone else posted this problem? I've tried to search and came up with nothing on this..

I have tried this on 2 N3ds and same thing...

As you are using Sky3ds, you can update the console to 10.3 and then try to run the game again. Are you using the latest starter pack? also, tell us more, like, which game, region, etc. So we can help you more.

Thank you so much for your replies.

I'm on firmware 10.3.0.28U. Using the bluebutton sky3ds. I've tried 5 different games and they all do the same thing. These are EU and J games I'm trying. I've tried U games with same results.

When I install the hack it does say its installing ninjahax 2.5beta. That's the latest?

That's correct you have the latest one. When did you install homebrew on your microSD card. In the same Homebrew launcher can you check for a program that is like for testing the tracking of the N3ds? It's called head tracking demo I think (never used it as I'm on old3DSXL).

I just installed the homebrew today. I tried the headtracking demo and just see small dots on the screen. When i move my head around they move also. I'm not sure how the headtracking demo works or looks like as this is my first time trying it out.

When I play my region game (U), it runs flawless with the sky3ds. Only when I try to load ninjahax and try to run regionfree is when I have the 3d headtracking problem.

For example when I run super mario bro. directly, no problem. I use regionfree on the same game tracking doesn't work.

Try launching the game with HANS and select the higer clock rate you can. Just to test if they can run.

I found the info for gateway and head tracking issues:

''Another pending issue we are working on fixing is the broken “head tracking” functionality
in Gateway mode on New 3DS. However, some clever community members discovered an easy
temporary workaround until we develop a proper fix for this issue: Simply close your New 3DS
lid while in Gateway mode to put the console in sleep mode, re-open the lid and head tracking
should be working again as expected.''

I don't know if it might be the same for sky3ds/+

I have a GW also and tried that trick. :)

Didn't fix it on sky3ds. Thank so much for your help..

Hoping this is a fix that will come out on the next release.

I checked regionThree compatibility list and it says Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D has that issue. Maybe is something that has been happening? I'm not sure cause I have never used out of my region games. Try to stick to your region if you can, and only play the ones that you want to test until they come out.
