Yeah, sorry man. I updated my post. But anyway, this makes sense.
In terms of the Twilight Hack, there are three things.
1. When you have it installed and you reboot your Wii, you get a message that says "Your data is corrupt" blah blah blah. This is the VerifySavedataZD
2. If this check fails, DeleteSavedata is called, and the data is deleted.
3. If you try to copy Zelda savedata from your SD card, it runs WADCheckSavedataZD on the data.bin file (which is essentially a WAD of save data encrypted with the sd-key), and allows or disallows the copying based on the result.
