Homebrew Autorun - Play Windows PC games on your Nintendo Switch.

how i can install net 2.0 in autorun? A game need this.

I tried to install NetFx20SP1_x86.exe in autorun but gives me "extraction failed. Invalid function"

hi , how did you patch the exe to get higher memory support and after applying widescreen patches my perfomance has taken a huge hit even with lod set to min and resolution at 720p. I am also using patch 1.3 - could you share settings of your autorun ?

I don't think the 4gb patch does anything since on the github page is written that every game gets max 2gb of memory.

I get around 30fps with 720p and detail set to one before maximum. If you press x or y while in the grapic settings you open the advanced tap where you can activate/deactivate shadows, reflections, the yellow filter, etc for performance.

Same thing here been trying all night but Rayman Origins just refuses to load taking me right back to the homebrew screen,seems like some games right now are just broken maybe a future patch will patch them up hah! If anyone could test Onimusha 3 (PC) & Oni (Bungie's early 3D beatem-up inspired by Ghost in the Shell/Blade Runner) report back the results

If you have test build 4 you can press "-" and the right stick at the same time to open up an on-screen keyboard

Tomb Raider Legends, Anniversary, and Underworld seem to work great, but saving doesn't seem to work, nor does selecting the controller as an input. However, the controller does work as a mouse and keyboard.

I've been trying some Sonic fangames and I've had no luck. The log gives me a file that failed to load, but I don't know how to get the file, or even if that's what I need to do.

Are there certain kinds of applications that are never going to work with this, or is it really just a matter of trial and error?

First of all:
I have enough community who isnt racist and horrible to me and other developers in the scene (like alula). Its honestly disheartening to see people like Dan Ticoslop take control of the scene, make quick things that make headlines, then never get remotely optimized.

The "vulkan on switch" is cool and all, but people who really want to take advantage of the hardware should use deko3d (I use vulkan in my dusklight only because i am still working on deko3d backend). basic technical knowledge of the hardware is required to do what these people want, and they dont have it.

this can be said for many people running the scene right now.
do they know how maxwell gpu sm works? no. do they know how the tegra x1 cpu load counter works? no. you need basic technical knowledge to fully take advantage of the hardware, and thats why a lot of the metrics are useless and lying to you.

you can say OH MY GOD WERENT YOU IN THIS POSITION? and yes i was. i learned how to do things, stared at the trm for so much of my time, and thats how you build true knowledge, not just asking claude to do it for you. you can use it as a tool to enhance or make your comprehension apply or use it faster, but not to push out buggy and clickbaity software onto this community

there is a fine line between scene drama and personal attacks and that has been crossed.
