Congrats to tmbinc and tehpola for finding a combination of two bugs in the code that Nintendo added that — when combined — allow us to fool their check into ignoring the TP hack. More info will be forthcoming — I still wouldn’t rush to update my system, anyway.

This still leaves the issue of how to deal with IOS30; there are several different ways to deal with this — some of which have already been released by people — and we’ll need to take some time to decide on the best one to use and test it thoroughly. Im sure this has all been posted before but here are my findings.

- Homebrew Channel still works.
- All homebrew still boots and plays fine from HBC.
- WADs still install and play fine, even ones patched with freethewads.
- Freeloader is NOT working anymore!

Well if Nintendo is like Sony they will release a patch firmware frequently until they get tired of it. Thats the thing; theres a flaw to everything. If a human made it theres something flawed.

If Nintendo actually considered updating something relevant or added in a new kick ass feature I might think about updating. But that's probably not going to happen so my Wii will sit in the corner until new games get released or they release something good firmware wise.

Besides, your argument is retarded. Most of us don't update till we know what the update'll do, and since we already have the 3 killer apps (smash, kart, galaxy) there is no forseeable reason to update to a firmware that would invalidate our drivechips until waninko/bushing delivers a fix.

Just don't update for now,until other exploits are found or something.The twilight hack won't work after the update.
