Hey guys, quick question. Will my PAL save work with the NTSC game? I'm tired of changing the options every time (they won't save for some reason)

extract the main.dol with wiiscrubber 1.4
open the main.dol with a hex editor
navigate to 0x001AB610 (Ctrl + G in hexworkshop and input it in has a hex value)
change the 4 pairs of number (from 0x001AB610 to 0x001AB613) so they read 4E 80 00 20
i.e.
0x001AB610 = 4E
0x001AB611 = 80
0x001AB612 = 00
0x001AB613 = 20

Save the file
use wiiscrubber to replace the main.dol with the one you just saved.
Burn and use with neogamma/Gecko OS and a modchip or load on a USB drive and use with your favorite USB Loader.

To make it more clear, what are the original four pairs of numbers ? Thanks !

seriously? There's no way to like convert the sav files or anything?
If I remember right, I used a title called savegame manager to transfer my gamesaves from NTSC-J to NTSC-U for Wii Sports Resort.

Yes, please clarify. I search for 0x001AB610 but I get "string not found." What am I doing wrong. Can someone show me where to find the patched main.dol instead? It's for NTSC-U.

I am having issue with this game. I am on NTSC USA wii with a mod chip and a soft mod. I burned the game, put it in(the disc channel) it loads fine, it starts out fine, but in world 1-1, as I am going through the game, it gives me this error "Error occurred please eject disk then turn off the wii" and I turn it off and I try it again and it will go through a little more of the 1-1 world then again, the same message. I dont know what to do to make this game work properly. It's stupid to keep on taking out the disk and putting it back in just to make it go again. I dont know anything about how to use that .dol file, if that will even solve this issue. Please let me know I have been waiting a month for this game, it looks awesome, just want to play it

Softmodded Wii on 4.1 with cios rev14 - using the newest OpenWiiFlow with the NSMB fix and get a "insert disc" error on startup. I was under the impression that it automatically patches NSMB. Is there any other step I missed? (NTSC btw)

Seriously, there are so many people having problems with this... Is there a link with a walkthrough of all the steps required for running this using various USBloaders?

I've tried usbloader GX and NeoGamma and I get the exact same generic disc error for both.

For the time being, no loader automatically patches NTSC NSMB.

You aren't looking for that string, you are looking for that address, download hexworkshop, open the main.dol file, press Ctrl+G then check the HEX circle and put "001AB610" in the box, and click go.

Ah, ok, so can I ask what the next best method is?

EDIT: so it's a hex-edit of main.dol? I can handle that.

Has anyone tried the uLoader 3.1/cIOS 249 method that some have had success with using a NTSC copy?

    @Xdqwerty crashd was the exploit for LG TVs to root practically any.
    I got word of it this january and rooted my TV. Was pretty impressed.
    Since then LG patched the command to root and then the developer mode app itself from making vulnerabilities.

    And then I found out that having a rooted TV lets you use PPPwn to jailbreak a PS4 on firmware 11. Finally uses for my rooted LG (I hate the playstation as such the use is gone)
