Am i correct in assuming that all the USB Loaders that have been updated to work with an unpatched ISO will only work with the PAL version for now?

Same with NeoGamma R8Beta7 and the GeckoOS cheat? All PAL specific, correct?

I don't get it how to get this game working.
I got an drivekey and my wii is pal 4.2E. It just reboots on loading from the disc channel.

I have a Wii with D2CKey and no softmod at all.

Is there any way to play this without installing a IOS/cIOS? :/

is it possible for someone to create a cheat code to use with Ocarina to bypass the disc error like they did with the PAL version? thanks in advance

I had trouble getting a patched NSMB to work on a PAL Wii (system menu 4.2E) with WiiKey v1, it kept saying there was an error and I had to restart the Wii just after putting the disc in.

I followed steps 1-4 from http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-g...os-4-2-wii.html
Now it works directly from the disc channel!

I've played halfway through world 1, seems ok so far!

OK finished dumping. Started the game, played through the first level. I thought it was all good. Then got the dreaded "an error has occurred" message while wandering around the map. Had to force shutoff. Started it again, this time the same message appeared in the middle of a level.

I seem to remember running into this with SSBB. Man I blew like 5 DVD-DL medias before I got a good burn on SSBB.

I burned it at 8x. I just made reburns of all my backups since they were all scratched up. Using the same media they all work perfectly, EXCEPT NSMB of course.

I'll reburn at 2x and see what happens. I'll update you guys.

So you're attempting your own dump? I couldn't help but notice that you just joined yesterday (but admit that you could have been lurking for years for all I know).
What cIOS revision do you have installed? I don't know exactly how true it is but I've read several times that cIOS rev7 was the best one to use to make dumps.

I burnt an unpatched ISO at 4x and got the error.

GUys im FREAKING OUT with this thing, im a huge fan of Nintendo and Mario stuff, but nowadays i cant spent money on games so, i just wanted to play ! But , i get the error after a while playing with a non fixed iso , and with a fixed iso , (by nitro) , in Geck'OS doesnt read, gets stuck on Loading DVD Tittle...
In neogama i got a green screen... what do i need to do? please teach me !

So NSMBW won't work on sofdtmodded Wii's ?? I tried the PAL Version that works fine for my with my USB-L but it won't work on Neogamma R8. Gives me 001 Error...

Preloader 0.3 installed with disc updates blocked
cIOS rev15 installed
Dop-IOS Mod: Chose 249 and installed/patched IOS53 and IOS70

New Super Mario Bros still cuts off after about 10 minutes or so. I don't have a clue what I am doing wrong.

Alright, I must be missing something... I've tried both my purchased ntsc copy and the pal one. I tried patching both, but I still get the same generic error. "An Error has occurred. Must Eject Disc..."

I have a 4.1U softmodded Wii. I'm using USBloader GX with the latest revision.

What do I need to do?

extract the main.dol with wiiscrubber 1.4
open the main.dol with a hex editor
navigate to 0x001AB610 (Ctrl + G in hexworkshop and input it in has a hex value)
change the 4 pairs of number (from 0x001AB610 to 0x001AB613) so they read 4E 80 00 20
i.e.
0x001AB610 = 4E
0x001AB611 = 80
0x001AB612 = 00
0x001AB613 = 20

Save the file
use wiiscrubber to replace the main.dol with the one you just saved.
Burn and use with neogamma/Gecko OS and a modchip or load on a USB drive and use with your favorite USB Loader.
