Yeah I'm having the same problem, green screen no matter what I try. I'm on 4.0U, however.

Likewise however I am on 4.2E. (Original Wiikey) Installed the HBC as per tutorials. Used NeoGammaR8beta7 using a DVD no joy. Used usbloader_gx with the DVD in no joy either. Tried patched and non-patched iso DVDs and both produce green screen after the apps have loaded. All I get is a fast orange bar loading the apps then the green screen.

Guess I will have to wait for a hardmod version to arrive.

Do you just get a green screen that shortly redirects you to your Wii Menu? That's what I get.

That's exactly what's happening for me too. Hopefully someone will find a way to play it from a DVD.

same here. I have xzxero old method softmod 4.1 NTSC-U Wii using neogamma R7 same result. Tried the normal IOS and change the main.dol no luck.Got the Fix version and no luck either. Any HElp please?

Fuck, I need to get a USB HD sometime. Oh, if only I had money...

I guess I'll wait for a disc loader fix. I still got 2 DVDs left, so I'll use one of those once a non-modchipped disc loader fix is avaliable.

Has anyone with a PAL-Wii 'PAL-Borders' with the alternative DOL? (I'm using configurable USB-loader 47b-fat)
The Menu, Home Menu and title screen are fullscreen, but ingame has additional borders on top and bottom. Is this a NTSC/PAL screw-up? (Playing in PAL60 with RGB cable on 16:9 CRT).

+1 on a 16:9 lcd. so i guess it's not supposed to be that way

If you read the front page you would know there is currently no confirmed way of playing if from a disc with a purely softmodded Wii. You'll need a hardmod to play it from a disc (and you might as well just buy the game instead of a modchip). Wait for a softmod disc fix or go buy a small hard drive to play the game.

In neogamma r7 goto options :

Game language- ENGLISH
Alt.dol-SD
FORCE VIDEO- WII

So what has been cracked in the main.dol exactly?

There's a subroutine for checking certain values in the 0x8000000 region and a bit of other jiggery pokery. The byte changes at 0x1ab750 amount to changing the first instruction of the subroutine to a return instead of the real "stwu sp, -30(sp)"

What concerns me is the instructions in the first post of the thread that say to search and replace all ocurrances of 0x94 0x21 0xff 0xd0 with 0x4e, 0x80, 0x00, 0x20 in the main.dol as that is also taking out a lot of non-related subroutines with potentially interesting results. I wouldn't be suprised if that accounted for some of the peoples problems on here (like no sound etc.)

I'm gonna wait for an updated Cioscorp. This will install new IOS53, IOS60 and IOS70, trucha sign them and then i thinks i going to work though disc channel with my wiikey v1. Da_letter_a is Australian so most definately sleeping right now.

i've done all the steps from the first post, but when i click save on wiiscrubber, i pick a location and it comes out with a .dif file
what do i have to do with that?
