Hacking New run of Acekard 2.1's?

Congratulations to AceKard for finally acknowledging that the previous clipped-together cartridges were crap

Yeah Acekards are back on dealextreme, my assumption is that they are all the new blue pcb ones.

I ordered yesterday, and the staus has already changed to:

Expedited Order Received - in stock

the strange thing is, that they have put the estimated ETA back to 11th February.

I ordered 1 on the 14th to check them out, but it is still stuck on "Processing".

I don't know if anyone else tried contacting them, but I know I sent them a message about it - that they should change the title already if it is indeed ver. 2.1.

Anyways, I ordered mine from them on the 13th and it's already been shipped out.

I'm not very trusting of DX anymore... :\

The cards from FocalPrice are the cards with the Black PCB..

And yea they are the AK2.1 Cards

You prob wont get a blue PCB until everyone get rid of the Black PCB versions..

From what I've read, It means you got an old AK2 that was given a fix. The new ones do have black or blue pcb.

The older ones were spring loaded. If yours isn't, it might be a new one. Is it held together with clips or is it glued shut?

mine is the green PCB with no clips. i bet they just had a few of the old PCBs and put them in new cases.

not springloaded (good!!!)

only problem is it freezes when i try to play rune factory 1. very strange.

Just received my 1st lot since the new ones that were sent to me.

I ordered on the 4th January, and they are the old clipped together AK's with the green PCB.

OK ppl, I know that the new run is supposed to be better built, but is there more of a difference between them? Maybe a good idea to put that kinda info in the first post of this thread. Though I already got one, I am curious why the new run is considered better, besides the build quality.

Because the blue PCB looks much more cool! ;-) Joke ofc. Only the build quality has been improved. The features are all the same as in the one with the black PCB.
