Okay so I started playing an app on facebook called Backyard Monsters
in which u basicllly have a yard in which u have a town hall factories, monster-producers
and an attack module.

The point of it is to be the king of the map by growing ur own materials to build more as well
as raid ur other friends bases with the monster-armies u create.

I saw great potential in this. and being a zelda fan i put the thought in there...

and well i was basically thinking same concept, but with zelda 2d monsters and graphics ;D

any opinions? maybe takers on the idea... seeing as i have no clue how to make homebrew

While people are considering Facebook apps as homebrew, think about PotFarm

Love that game. Would make it if I had the programs.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    nope

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
