I don't think "coding style" means what you think it means. There's clean coding, and there's ugly coding. Then there's good coding and bad coding. Waninkoko writes bad, relatively clean code. Hermes (who wrote sndlib among other things) writes quite a bit uglier code, but it's definitely good (and he knows what he's doing, unlike Waninkoko).

It means what I think it means and does not change the reflexion that followed...
Ugly or not, bad or not, people does not become coding gurus in one week, some might even never been correct coders but who care ? this is not a fucking company selling programs, these are homebrew programs, there are no quality check required here, some have higher sense of quality (like you), some are more lazy and just care about the result

anyway, I don't see waninkoko as a hero neither and I know that most people are acting like this toward him because of the obvious purpose of its release, But I also think the worst thing that could happen in a homebrew community (what a big word) is starting bashing about other people code

please keep this for the first upcoming wiibricker

I'd give it up. They don't care. They don't care about good code/bad code/sloppy code. They don't care what you have to say about waninkoko, or anyone else. Regardless of it you have a good point or not, people just want their pirated games. Nothing you say will change their mind. Someone else released a way to boot pirated games, and that person is their shining star now. That is all they ever cared about.

That being said I have used Wanikoko's apps and I haven't had them brick my Wii or anything.
But could you even tell me ONE reason that you could legally use the WAD Manager?
It's for piracy and you know it. Not to mention injecting ROMs into channels is still piracy as well (espically if you live in DMCA-land)

- "IOS36-64-v1042.wad" original WAD file.


[ HOW TO INSTALL IT ]:

- Copy "IOS36-64-v1042.wad" file to the root of a SD card.
- Insert the SD card on your Wii.
- Run the installer.

apps rarely brick wii's, it's mainly users who brick wii's.

people also used it recently to fix issues with BomberMan WiiWare, both purchased and "obtained."

why ask for a legal reason to use a program that you know is used primarily for illegal reasons?
it doesn't make your point stronger, even if we couldn't give an example.

MARCAN stop posting in this thread, you are an awesome coder but you're not God or the father of Waninkoko, you know this is going to stop when the next loader comes up, (IF IT COMES, thing that I really doubt) If you're mad at him because of the apps he made, you should talk to Team Twizers and make and update of the HBC where the code made by Wanin or Wiigator do not run, that will be your best opcion.

You're not making any good to you, telling to the people that have him as a GOD, that he is not a good coder or ugly or shitty or ......etc.

back on topic, normally there is a installer and a uninstaller for those cios from waninkoko. why isn't there a cios uninstaller now?

edit: btw, the new cIOS causes my wii to crash on a lot of homebrew apps with black screen and wiimote disaabled... had to uninstall ios 249 with any title deleter...
