[ DESCRIPTION ]:

- This is a Custom IOS, an IOS modified to add some new features
ÂÂnot available in the official IOS.

ÂÂThis IOS has been made to be used ONLY with homebrew software.

ÂÂThe Custom IOS installs as IOS249 and it does not modify any other
ÂÂIOS so it is secure to install.


[ REQUISITES ]:

- "IOS36-64-v1042.wad" original WAD file.


[ HOW TO INSTALL IT ]:

- Copy "IOS36-64-v1042.wad" file to the root of a SD card.
- Insert the SD card on your Wii.
- Run the installer.


[ KUDOS ]:

- Team Twiizers and devkitPRO devs for their great work in libogc.
- All the betatesters.
- nitrotux, for his IOS5.
- neimod, for the Custom IOS module.

It says custom dip module is revised... wasn't that custom dip module especially for backup launching? or say dvd-r reading..

My last gift before holidays. Three new applications for Custom IOS! As always they are not useful and dangerous. Enjoy them (if you can).

It seems the only reason for this is to stop the use of his backup loader. Don't really blame him.

I'm leaning more toward this being funny "wink and a nod" wording. Waninkoko has mentioned in the last few days that with some changes to his DIP module he'd been able to fix DVD read issues. Then suddenly a new DIP module comes out? If it breaks his original loader but paves the way for creation of new ones that's fine by me, we weren't supposed to have the original in the first place.

If code of wiigators loader will be updated to work with the new cios we'll see...
Also we have to wait for the more skilled folks around here, to tell us the secrets of this rev.

I read around that it wont work with any of the loaders.

I'll Just hope and wait and see for some guru to compile a new version.

Waninkoko has already advised that this wont work directly with the present loaders and he had given advice on how to change them to work with the new system.

Someone should come up with a loader for the new cIOS fairly soon - id be thinking in the next day anyway given the speed they are working on stuff at the moment.

The Cios_fix.wad seemed to have sorted a lot of games for most people if combined with the backuploader that was released after it - ive seen most games work well on that.
