What you should be doing is using an "eject" or "safely remove" function of your computer before you physically remove the MicroSD. For windows you should be able to right-click some USB-looking symbol in the bottom-right of your screen when the MicroSD is in and choose to eject the reader. That or right-click the drive in "my computer".
If you don't do this first, there's a chance of it corrupting.
