I just got my christmas gift, a 2TB WD Elements External Hardrive to be my new wii hard drive since I filled up my old 400GB WD Passport (1 fat32, 1 wbfs).
The New Hard Drive (1 fat32, 1 wbfs):

The Wii USB Compatibility List: (The other WD Elements were confirmed working, so I assumed this one would be fine!)
http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Index.php/USB...bility_List#2TB
I used Easeus Partition Manager to make the 1st partition 100GB FAT32 with 32k clusters and formated the rest of 1.7tb from NTFS -> RAW -> WBFS using WBFS Manager 3.0.
I copied a couple of games from my old HD onto the new one using WBFS Manager 3.0 copy (the game file sizes were bigger on the new HD than they were on the old HD) and get this error every time using USB Loader Config v60:
"WBFS Error Not a wii disc"
then I will try to boot the game and get something like
"cios(249) error (ret-1)
press any button to exit"
USB Loader GX r938 takes me back to the wii menu when I try to load a game.
I have tried to reformat the new HD using WBFS Manager 3.0 multiple times and get the same result.
I ripped one of my games from the disc to the new external HD using USB Loader Config v60 and that worked fine. Using mplayer ce to view video off the FAT32 partition also worked fine.
Some thoughts on this issue:
1. Could it just be that the games somehow got corrupt on my old HD?
2. Is there a way to fix corrupt WBFS games?
3. Maybe it is the fact I might have formatted my old HD to wbfs with wbfsTOOLv14?
Think I followed this guide:
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=146191
4. Maybe I should format the WBFS partition on the new HD to FAT32 and then back to WBFS?
5. Do I need to use clone in WBFS Manager 3.0 instead of copy?
6. Could be my cios (rev 19 with ios bse 57)?
I looked online to find a solution to this problem and found this problem mentioned before, but not answered.
Please help me here, thanks!
